Girls, Why would a girl start to act cold and distant?

After a few months of talking, flirting, laughing, having heaps of chemistry why would she suddenly act different? She would be weird showing mixed signals talking to me sometimes and ignoring me other times and then trying to make jealous talking to other guys then when she catches me looking at her she’d look away and be all flirty with them? She would still stare at me but when I approach she walks away like she’s busy. Other times she looks uncomfortable?

I don’t know if I made her feel special or not I showed a bit of chivalry towards her and she liked it but yeah I don’t know. I didn’t want to make it too obvious because it’s a complicated situation

Possibly I have done something, because it felt like it happened overnight. I asked her if everything was ok and if I did something wrong but she said no and said it was her study but I don’t think it was because she was still acting like this.

When a girl likes a guy if she sees the guy talking to other girl even if its a thank you , you welcome or for example she sneezed and to say bless you conversation nothing special or particular. A girl that likes you gets very upset just small little things that don't matter in conversations. Girls hate it if you are interacting with other girls when they like you. You haven't even notice and you are not sure why the reason she acts this way with you all of a sudden.

we are testing to see if we get results. she wanted to see if you’d react to step up ur game if you saw her being without you. if you’re that interested in someone you don’t want to be wasting time on them if they aren’t making moves to take it further

No I didn’t ask her out. I was planning to but she started to act like this which threw me off and didn’t know if I should or just leave her alone

Well it’s possible too much times was spent on flirting. I would have done the same as this girl... distance myself if I wasn’t being asked out.

Think of it like this , what if some other guy asked her out before you did? If your scared of loosing her , ask her out. Nothing is too fast... perhaps it is for you and your not ready. If your not ready just leave her alone

Yeah I’d regret it if someone asked her out before me. But I don’t know if I’m ready I still want to get to know her better, I thought we were in a good place. But obviously she wants things to move quicker and that’s why she’s acting like this? So it’s like make a move or leave me alone kind of thing, don’t even want to be close still?
