+1 yOnly some girls who have any sort of trauma or hard complex, are afraid.
Most girls I know don't have this problem. Specially girls like me that barely wear any makeup in a daily basis.
However I remember a friend my sister had. She went to our house in summer. This girl always look perfectly maked up. My mother even had the curiosity to see her without make up. My mother never saw her without makeup in the 2 or 3 days she was living under our same roof. The girl seemed to put some make up right before going out of the room in the morning. Everyday. We went to the pool and she was wearing makeup and didn't swim or put the head under water. She would go to sleep and she was still wearing makeup. My sister explained she would clean and "repaint" herself in the morning. Veeery weird.03 Reply- +1 y
More than trauma, it's probably complex. I assume this based on their behavior. I don't think any girl with this behavior would admit they have a problem. It's like anorexic women... they usually don't notice what's the problem with their behavior. But in both of this cases, wearing makeup all the time and anorexia, there's an obvious underlying issue with their self-esteem. Because, one thing is liking makeup, which I understand even if I don't like it, and another totally different thing is having fear of beign seen without makeup.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 ysome do. I pers do kinda but not that extreme. I litteraly have white eyebrows and really red uneven skin and bad eye bags. my skin and my eyebrows make me insecure and I wouldn't be caught dead unless I don't care what you think of me without it. I'm also more attractive with it so... it's better if a guy keeps thinking I'm a 7 than a 6. Used to be pretty extreme when my skin was worse and when I had a lot shittier self esteem. I would sometimes not go to pe because I didn't want to ruin my makeup and people to see what I looked like with "less" of it.

+1 ySo glad the women in my sphere are not remotely like the woman in the example. Frankly I loved awaking next to my last girlfriend and seeing the yellow of the morning light illuminate her flawless face. She wore zero makeup to bed. Hell, she didn’t even need it. One of those women who could get away without it. Which always struck me as she would prefer going without it yet always wore it. Beats me...

I feel bad for the women who feel this way and for the guy because he might not know how to help her feel more secure with her natural beauty. I know I have a hard time knowing what to say as well.
I rarely wear makeup. I've accepted the level of beauty I have. I'd say I'm in the category of a pretty version of a plain jane. I accepted it and now wear makeup whenever I feel like getting a little more dolled up. I'm also a little lazy when it comes to makeup. I dont take more than 10 minutes to get it done.10 ReplyI have nice features but often have breakouts around my period. I get really insecure and want to cover them up. My boyfriend says that I look cute without makeup and not to worry about a few pimples. But we wear makeup everyday so it’s pretty ingrained in how we think we look.
14 ReplyNo lol he’ll eventually see me with no make up, we all get breakouts here and there or just have a bad day with dark circles and all but it’s life, I’d try to make it less noticeable if we’re on a date or something but let’s say we’re spending the night together, I’m definitely not going to try and wake up before him so I can mask that spot lol or do my eyebrows

+1 yNo, since I only use minimal make up (blush on and lipcolor, and sometimes one for eyebrow) it doesn't drastically change how I look. Just gives a bit of glowing effect.

I forgot it isn't a girl thats asking. Got a bit carried away. 😅 but okay. Haha

That's fine! ☺️
+1 yLol, I'm always without makeup, so guys are kind of used to. I understand where these women come from, though. If your facial features change drastically and you end up as a completely different person without makeup, they feel the guys won't like them anymore.
11 ReplyNo, not really. I generally go natural and bare face on a day to day basis and that's how about 80% of the time my boyfriend sees me. Unless we're headed out for a nice day and I'm feeling pretty/sexy... I'll put on some eyeliner, faux lashes, mascara and colored chapstick.

My man actually complimented me when I wasn't wearing any cause I didn't have time I over slept and we were going to go out for breakfast.. I hate being late.. there's an hour between where we live and we met in between.. I think when your late its like a slap in the face to that person I dont respect your time... it why when I make plans with someone I wait 10 mins past the time then text them.. well something but have come up.. dont worry about meeting today have a good day! I just used my cleanser and toner and put on eye liner in the morning so I wouldn't be late.. then I left and we actually pulled in the parking lot the same time. We sat down and I said sorry I didn't have time to do my makeup didn't wanna keep you waiting he said I appreciate that and you look beautiful! You always look beautiful I dont think you have to wear it to be beautiful.. you are naturally beautiful so dont feel you have to wear it around me but if you want to go for it.. im happy with whatever you decide to do! So sometimes I wore it, sometimes I didn't and he's a lot more passionate kissing me when im not wearing it.. I actually got a lot of compliments from other people too.. just doing my skin care and eye liner.. then one day he was watching me doing it and he said that he likes it better without eye liner and he's the only one I want to attract so I am like that most times.. but special events I wear everything.. but everyday now I just use my skin care and lip chap..

You wouldn't believe the freedom I feel of not having to put it on.. not having to buy more every two or three months.. im saving so much money so much more productive with my time.. its actually increased my confidence not wearing it.. I went 40 days without seeing my man due to covid so I did wear it the first time seeing him again and he asked why I said cause your important to me and wanted to look my best for you! He said you always do! That he prefers me without it but damn he's lucky to have such an amazing attractive woman that he could put me in a room with a bunch of men and trust me.. asked me how it makes me feel when I wear it. I said I feel like make up enhances my beauty!
- +1 y
Also people treat you differently when you dont wear it.. especially women so I mainly wear it for them
- +1 y
Lol I was actually just listening to a podcast wear they were talk about how women do things for other women, like wear makeup and get plastic surgery because they want to impress them more than they want to impress men. Imagine living your whole life trying to impress people you don’t even like. Well I’m glad you broke the cycle

Its true it shows which people are shallow and you dont want them in your life anyway

I was born to stand out

+1 yi am afraid to show everyone my normal without make up face, so if its a guy i like, 100%
11 ReplyI rather show the guy my face without makeup. There's no need to hide under all that. I prefer the natural look anyways and I'm sure most guys love a girl with natural beauty.
10 ReplyNot never. I just do makeup because i like doing it, not because i am ugly or i have something to conceal on my face. It really disturbs me when the guy say i didn't need makeup, i look beautiful without it🤦🏻♀️

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yNo I haven't been afraid plus I prefer being natual and would prefer if someone genuinely appreciates my beauty for what it is instead of them relying on my beauty that is caked on with make up that is temporary which is why I've met a few guys without make up the first time I met them and honestly it feels good to be yourself.

+1 yNo makeup is not a big deal. If you're on a trip with a guy and you have to go poop, you go down to the lobby restroom at the hotel, or drive elsewhere. 🤣

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yhell yes. but because he asked for video call out of sudden, I had no choice to reveal him my bare face. I feel nervous af. but slowly I started to believe in myself since he doesn't made me feel insecure. I feel confident slowly. 😘 love him

Opinion Owner+1 yby the way I feel nervous only towards the guy I'm seeing. other than him.. I most likely go with bare face.
often bare faced.
went on dates barefaced, was always asked why I don't wear makeup.. I don't go for a second date.
finally with a guy who love my confidence and bare face, dark circles and all...10 ReplySometimes, but I've noticed, and he's said as much, he likes it when I'm natural. Curly hair, no makeup.
I still wonder how and why 😁😅20 Reply
+1 yThe make up thing, for me no. I put on make up daily because I feel it gives me confidence, but to be honest I don't look better with make up so I don't mind him seeing me without my make up, the taking a dump part I can understand though
00 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I think a lot of people feel that way considering how much makeup people use today. Not saying it’s a bad thing because makeup is a talent and people can do it really well but it’s hard to know if someone will like another with none at all sometimes.

Yeah, that's a combo of hella good lighting, deep set eyes, and a touch of sleep deprivation 😂
+1 yNope, I rarely use makeup lately. Its feel havy on my face if thats not important event for me. Who the hell still use makeup everyday during quarantine time?
00 ReplyI don’t wear makeup LIKE EVER and feel like my boyfriend seeing me with makeup will make me feel really awkward lmao

Yo white girl, do u like black men?
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yDepends on the person. I lacked self confidence in my 20s so it would have been more difficult. I always wore makeup. As the years went on I'm became comfortable without make up so pretty much everyone has seen me without make up.
00 ReplyNope. If a guy doesn't love you the way you are then move on- u dont need him. But nowadays females be wearing tons & tons of makeup so they look totally different with make up on-- but you can't wear that crap 24/7-- eventually he's gonna see ya..

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI don’t wear makeup at all, so he’d only see the natural me. I would be afraid of him to see me with makeup on though because I just started learning how to do it and I look like a clown

00 ReplyPersonally, makeup is a turnoff unless it's for important events but a lady should never go overboard and look like someone they're not. That's just plain deception.
00 ReplyNope, I don't wear makeup. What you see is you get 😊
10 ReplyIt comes down to self confidence. So if I'm having a crap day I will put make up on to boost it. Not necessarily for a male. Yes girls feel nervous about being completely comfortable at first.
00 ReplyNo I wasn't afraid to show a guy my face without makeup.
