Girls, Why does she act this way when I’m around?

a girl I know who works in a store near to my university. They offer free tasters of perfumes me and friends would go in and try. Then she comes and asks if we are ok and I said can you pick one out that you like so she pulled out A few but I said what’s your favourite. She pointed it out and my friend tried so I said , wow have to get it now she likes it (suggesting her opinion matters) she laughed and took the compliment.

then everytime I would go in she would always look at me , sometimes we would have a little smile to ourselves kinda nervously. Although I liked her , I didn’t want to go ask her out as it’s her job. But I don’t get why everytime for months she always watching me , and smiling to herself. Then if we up close she acts cold then from a distance she always watching and looking.
then she start coming to my gym, and I could see her talking about me to her friend , now her friends keep looking at me and telling her when I’m about. She always watching me in the gym on her way out and where ever she is. i once asked if she had finished with something and then she was shocked that I kinda Spoke and when I walked off she and her friend kinda giggled.

but why everytime I walk in store , or in the gym she keep looking at me but never speak, and I can see her looking to se where I am say if I move around to different places in the gym. She looked around for me. Why did she giggle like that. Also once she over heard me speaking to my friend saying I think she beautiful an want to ask her out but I nervous to and she was ear wigging and started smiling to herself.
but then she just keep looking , every where she sees me and her friend keep looking

From what you've said I'm 95% sure she likes you. I feel like when you're a guy or a girl and you're interested in someone you can't resist looking at them all the time. Plus, the smiling reasures me even more, you don't giggle everytime you see a stranger.
And about what you said that she is cold when you guys talk it's maybe because she's scared or she's shy. Or maybe she's trying to act cool and to play hard to get. Sometimes girls have to make the first move, but I think that in this case you should try to talk to her and ask her out. Eventhough I'm a girl, I can't know what every girl's behaviour means. However, I will tell you this: You are losing nothing by talking to her. Either it's the best decision you've ever made and it turns out she was waiting for you to talk to her or it was a false alarm and you continue with your life.
You have to take risks in life, there's nothing wrong in clearing the air. Because I think, for anyone in this situation it would be very confusing and frustrating to feel like this.

Yeah , she’s not cold when she talks to me, rather it’s when she passed me up close or for example She’s behind me she will stare at me when I’m not looking then when I face her she looks away quickly and won’t make eye contact. I was kinda hoping that when we was close enough she could make eye contact and I’d say hi or smile to her. But when she does that I get kinda nervous and look away and avoid eye contact too.

But then other times she will keep looking at me , like if she’s busy stacking shelves or something. But then from a far she will keep looking to see if it’s me. In the gym she keeps staring, and at first she was talking. About me to her friend because her friend kept looking and now then friend always tells her if I’m around. Or if I workout near them she will look to her friend and start smiling. One I asked her if she was using something and she kinda didn’t expect me to talk. And then after started giggling with her friend which kinda confused me. Other time I spoke to my friend about her when she was near sitting down with her friend. And I said things like I though she was cute and that I’d ask her out but feel weird doing so. And she kept smiling to herself like she could hear me

She's totally talking about you with her friend if she giggles like that. This means that you're someone that is worth talking about, that is special. Don't waste your opportunity out of fear, make an excuse to talk to her. And then ask her out for a coffee or something. And don't worry, everyone finds it weird to ask someone out, it's not something we do on a daily basis ;)

Hmm what do you think she’s saying? Because everytime her friend sees me they tell her. Or if I’m near they kind of smile to her but then see I notice and make it look like they ain’t. And if i like walk up near them to use something, she looking at her friend smiling ( or trying not to smile) she does this thing where she tries not to smile but fails.

She done it all that time ago because I told her to show which perfumes she thinks is best then I flirted a little and said to my friend damn got to get It now if she thinks it’s good haha which she laughed. But then on my way to university lectures because I live in a city and pass the superstore. I always go in for a few free sprays, and she was standing over the other side and she kept trying not to smile to herself and then I started smiling as I saw her. And then she had to look the opposite way.

Yeah then other times she will just kept staring, like in the gym , or in her work place. Like on her way out of the gym she just stares (not all the time but most of the time) she’s always checking to see if I’m looking or where I am. I think she’s really cute , that’s why I am shy. She probably looks at me because I am big guy who trains at the gym and thinks I am not nervous

When her friends smiles at her when you're around means that she's excited that you're so close to her friend. And basically she's trying to get her friend's attention to you like: «Look! He's here!». I don't know if it makes sense haha
And I totally understand what you're feeling, being shy makes this 1000x more difficult than a normal person. Talk to your guy friends and get some advice on how they ask a girl, I'm pretty sure they have done it before and worked for them. They could give you some advice on how to act confident. And if you aren't it isn't a turn-off either. When a guy asks us out and he's like scared or nervous we find it so sweet, it makes us feel so good that a guy likes us THAT much.

Any time a female bothers to keep up with your location in a building means she's interested in you. Unless she thinks she's in danger, but that obviously is not the case here. She giggles, smiles and talks to her friend about you. She likes you. When you two are up close and she turns cold could be a few different things, though. She's nervous or aggravated that you haven't acted on any other impulses besides the perfume incident. Maybe she's mad at herself for not having the guts to ask you out. Who know? But everything else indicates that you could easily get away with more flirting while you're feeling her out... or just bite the bullet and ask her out for coffee.

I just don’t understand why she does that from a distance , but then if we are up close like passing each other she will avoid eye contact and look cold. Or she will stare at me if I have my back to her and then look away quickly. Other times she will just look right at me if she doing stuff and happens to see me. Then always at the gym, she always staring , talking to her friend about me, her friend seems to know of me because if they see me they tell her or both start talking. Or if I walk near her she will look at her friend and try not too smile.
