Is it bad I always laugh when I hear a woman say she is having her period?

Okay whenever i hear a woman say she is having her period I burst out laughing. The other day I read online about how some girl said that if it wasn't for birth control she would have painful cramps and would bleed a lot. I don't know why but that made me burst out laughing reading it. Whenever I am in a bad mood I just think of the word period or I read some story about a woman having her period and I burst out laughing, do you think this is bad.
