Is it normal that I can't stop laughing when looking at my girlfriend?

To clarify things, I haven't been close to many people in my life. Not even my own parents really. But my girlfriend who I met more or less recently relatively speaking is just the absolute best in every way, and I love her so much. Never thought I'd be so comfortable around the type of pretty popular girl I was terrified of in high school. I'm way more comfortable with her than I have ever been with literally any male friend, really.

And since I'm so comfortable around her, I laugh a lot when around her because it's like I can finally let my guard down and be myself after being around nothing but judgmental people all day.

Because of this though, whenever I look at her I can't stop laughing. And she laughs too. We basically can't look at each other without laughing. We even tried to make it a sort of contest. "Whoever goes the longest without laughing wins, now go!" And neither of us last more than 5 seconds.

This is great and all, but when in public it kind of becomes an issue because people might think we're insane for laughing for no reason, lol. That kind of makes me wanna laugh with her even more though, as I know I'm not supposed to be laughing in public.

We sort of made it a rule to not look at each other's faces in public, because when we look at each other's faces we burst out laughing.

Funniest part, she doesn't even have to be doing anything or making a funny face for me to laugh at her. Literally just her natural, neutral resting face is already enough. Or even her serious face.

I guess this might be the result of a lifetime of being judged, and to have finally have found someone I can just let my guard down around.
