Everyone's pain tolerance is different and it probably hit the pubic bone which can kill. It's happened to me, not with a soccer ball but I did want to die.

It’s not an exaggeration, it really hurts that much. The clitoris is packed with more nerves than the penis and restocked combined. Plus we have the pubic bone to worry about. I have taken down girls twice my weight by slapping them in the crotch, and dropping to the ground holding one’s crotch is the natural reaction after being hit in the groin regardless of what you have between your legs. Even if it was a light hit, it’s our weak spot. It tends to have a disabling effect on us.
