Girls, Why did this girl get so offended?

I just told her that I don't care what girls think about my appearance and looks. I try to look good because it makes my own self feel better
I told her that I don't need anything to validate my looks and confidence from girls. A girls opinion is irrelevant and doesn't count for me.

Then she got all upset and told me that's so disrespectful and rude.

What's her problem anyway. I don't care. Why should i respect girls. All they have done was make me cry myself to sleep and shattered my sense of self worth.

You should respect everyone as humans... but you are just being honest that you are happy with who you are and that's a good thing
