Girls, If not to impress men, why do many girls wear revealing clothes? (Page 2)

OK, I've seen people state that it's utterly hypocritical for women to wear sexy or revealing clothes and complain about it when they get "unwanted attention". Now I for one do NOT subscribe to that line of reasoning. I understand that just because something is appealing to the opposite sex doesn't mean that there are other reasons people like to do it. For example, being good at sports or playing instruments is a trait many women find attractive in guys but guys still do them for enjoyment versus to attract women. So I'm not trying to be accusatory in any way, I'm just curious as to why women wear revealing clothes (apart from times where the situation would call for it if for example, it's hot outside).
