Women like attractive men, just like men like attractive women. There really is no alpha/beta good/bad man thing going on.
Though some men tend to be too forward and that can come off as creepy to some girls, some girls can be too forward as well.
If there is anything else to it, it is how girls feels about you. As long as they feel good in your presence and you are attractive, I doubt girls will ignore you or reject you.
A big part of attraction is having a hot body, by the way. A hot body will open a lot of doors for you in life, and quite a lot of legs. A hot body isn't necessary though.
