Girls, Would you ever use a ugly guy for validation?

Like let’s say an ugly guy liked you there was never a chance you would reciprocate his feelings but you like the attention he gave you. I ask this because I liked a girl and was rejected I’m gonna assume because I was too ugly but anyways even though she was interested in another guy she didn’t want me to distance myself from her because I showed her attention

I honestly wouldn’t want any extra attention from a guy I wasn’t attracted too, I’d find it gross. I’m either assuming she likes you as a friend and no more and likes your company, or maybe if she’s taken a more sexual turn she may find you cute. But I had an ugly friend I had no problem spending time with and going out with, he took it the wrong way though and I had to cut him off completely. He became very entitled to my time and energy and became far to dependant on me when I made it obvious I wasn’t his girlfriend.

In that case I’d say she must like you on some level. It would be really twisted to say that to someone and not mean it. Even if she was just using you she wouldn’t need to say that.

You should make your feelings really clearly know.
She may have told you about the other guy to see if you’d react. Maybe she’s afraid to flat out say she likes you in case you reject it.
Maybe take her out and say you’re finding it hard to be as close because you like her? That way if she doesn’t like you like that she can back off and let you find someone who does like you, or she can admit her feelings and you two will be super happy :)

So I did tell her I liked her but she was saying she didn’t feel the same way she blushed when I told her. A few days later she tells me she wouldn’t date me if I was the last guy on earth. Lastly she wouldn’t let me distance myself she would always come up to me and go I’m not gonna leave you alone until you talk to me. Then when she became official with the guy she started dating she completely cut me off and blocked me on everything

Then she’s treating you like shit. Find a girl who is going to say and do those things with you and mean it... you deserve better treatment than that, everyone in that situation does.

Yeah I have given up on dating after that I never had a girl tell me it was meant for me to be in her life. When she said that I felt love it was different and it felt really good because my heart started fluttering

Yea it could be honestly she didn’t click with you or that you weren’t enough to her. Maybe she wanted someone more attractive and you weren’t it, maybe she was being nice and wanted to be your friend. It sucks but you will never know until you ask her.

Well she did irreparable damage I already had low self esteem now I don’t trust any women

I never hear guys have low self esteem they must do a good job at hiding it. Again guys don’t like talking about their feelings so females never really know what they go through. .
Only If they speak up about it. You shouldn’t let one situation affect you. I don’t you can trust anyone you can’t even trust the government. Lol

Maybe she just wanted your friendship - I don't try to get attention from guys I have no intention of dating unless I like them as a friend and clearly communicated that to them in the beginning that we were good as friends but not for more than that

Thing is I want to experience what it’s like to date and the more women just want to be friends it cements the idea in my head is all I’m good to be is a friend and that I’m inferior to other guys

Yeah but no women has ever found me worthy of a relationship it’s really dejecting when you are constantly seen as only good enough to a friend

I was pretty close friends with this guy who had a crush on me but he was obese and i just didn't have romantic feelings for him but i did want to be his friend.

So what should I do I’m pretty lean and muscular I honestly don’t know what the issue is whether it’s simply a social skills thing or actually my looks because being totally honest I rarely talk to women. The story that’s down below a lot of that had to do with the fact I worked with the girl and we was near each other a lot

I guess I’m trying to really analyze the psychology of it like what would she gain usually if a girl is getting attention from a guy other girls might be jealous but here no other girl would be jealous
