Why do some women make being “small” or “petite” a personality trait?

I have seen so many Social media picture captions Or random post of women saying “I’m so small.” “I’m so skinny and tiny.” Like why does that even matter? Lol And what’s crazy is some of them aren’t even all that small. Just tall and somewhat skinny and if you’re at least over 5ft you’re not that small.

Im over 5 feet and Im so small people mistake me for being 13 all the time, thank you. I can't say much since I don't know these people, I will say that Im small to use it in jokes since people find that funny.

Some girls probably will be a bit like that to like someone else said "be special" or attractive, I dont really know but I used to have a friend who was like "omg my hair is soo thick and my hips too" even though her hair was thin and her hips were average, so it is possible at the very least.

Being 6'7, you're all basically toddlers, so whatever. Just like any other human being, they want attention. Being upfront about your particularities isn't a bad thing, some men like it and now they know they should talk to these women.
