+1 yI'm speaking from personal experience here, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt-
Some women DO look and age better the older they get. Some, not all. It depends on various factors such as: genetics, their health, and how well they take care of their body.
Meaning if you treat it like crap in your teens and 20s, eventually it's going to catch up to you as you get older. By the way, that goes for men as well, not just women. But since women are the subject of this question, I won't go there.
Now several people on here have said women look better when they're younger, specifically in their 20s. That's not necessarily true. I'll use myself as an example-
I looked a hot mess in my early to mid 20s: overweight, dressed like a wrinkled, sloppy mess, my hair was unmanageable: most times I wound up just wearing it in a ponytail or sticking a cap on my head, and I had terrible skin (acne and oily complexion).
Now add my low self esteem to that.
Ask me how many guys thought I was attractive or asked me out during my 20s... yeah, if you guessed any number less than 3-5, you would be correct, lol
Fast forward to my late 20, early 30s: I learned to take better care of myself and my body, I ate healthier foods, lost weight, my skin cleared up. I dressed better and feel better about my appearance- well moreso than I did in my 20s.
Practically everyone that knew me in my 20s said that they don't even recognize me because I look WAY better now than when I was younger! Yes, really.
Mind you, I'm probably one of the exceptions to that. But I realized that as you get older, you need to take better care of yourself and your body to avoid complications later in life, and live longer. Not to mention, I feel so much better and happier now than I did when I was younger!
In other words, some women DO look better as they age, depending on how well they take care of themselves.51 Reply

It depends what you find beautiful, as we're all different. Typically most men are attracted to the younger women, but have more respect for the older women. For me personally, I am a much stronger person that I was when I was younger, which to me might be the reason why some people think of experience and knowledge as an attractive trait. We've been there/done that and not much really gets to us anymore.
If I was at a nightclub sitting at the bar, and a gorgeous younger woman was near by, frantic over her the fact her fake eyelash fell off, and I'm sitting like a cool cat, just enjoying my drink, watching her unravel over it, sure you might think she was more attractive initially, but her juvenile tendencies might be a turn off. You might at first overlook someone like me, but appreciate an older woman's ability to not give a fuck about superficial crap.
I could be wrong, but it seems like some men just like what they like, and even if it often comes with some negative traits, they still pursue the same type of woman all the time. They're like riding the bumper cars at the fair. They just keep driving two feet and *bump*.. drive another two feet *bump*.. and just keep doing it over and over because it's the ride they knew that they got themselves in for.12 Reply- +1 y
I can name a few older women/men who give fucks about superficial crap. It's really not about the age, it's about one's maturity level and experience in life.
- +1 y
@mspotaytuh This is generalizing. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, there always are. But I would say most times - it's so.
Not all women, however, It's not only about looks what makes men attracted to women, her demeanor and personality are important as well. Older women are more elegant, they behave more like a lady (not all women of course), and they have more life experiences. Also, older women are more mature, they don't act like whores (some women do). Life experiences is a real learning lesson to be more empathetic towards other people.
It's basically about your life experiences, your behavior (being a lady and feminine and not acting like a slut), and your personality what makes a woman very attractive.
Looks are used to attract men, but personality is for making a connection with a man and make them fall in love with you.11 Reply
+1 yIt always depends on the person, however I will say that most women do generally look better when they're younger. I know it will sound pedophile-ish of me due to today's societal norms, but women tend to look best around 18-24. But that's because I prefer slim proportions and girls tend to have that body shape around that, then they start gaining weight because metabolism slows and a lot don't workout. There are few woman that get better with age because they were a mess and didn't know how to take care of themselves when they were younger, however there's always a cutoff age where things only start getting worse. That age differs from person to person.

+1 yDepends on who you’re asking. Generally speaking, as sexual attraction goes, heterosexual men find women most attractive between the ages of 18 and 29. I don’t know the stats for lesbians. Personally, the older I get, the more younger people start to look like children to me (both female and male) but generally younger people have objectively better bodies and faces, less wrinkles, tighter skin, firmer, more pert breasts etc. So no, to answer your question. But that doesn’t mean a specific “older” woman can’t be more attractive than one particular “younger” woman. Of course that’s true. Just generally speaking...

+1 yI don't know what age do you have in mind. Usually the conventianl attractive ages are between 18 and 40. Attraction to adults in those ages is teleiophilia and is very common. Mesophilia is between 40-60 and Gerontophilia 60+, and are rarer.
I'd say normally people tend to adapt their taste to their age? Or at least I do. When I was a kid I'd like kids my age, and when a teen I'd like teens like me. Now as a young adult I fin attractive young adults around my age 18-30. I'm sure when I'm 50 I'll find appeal in men around 50.30 ReplyNo, they do not.
The biological fact is that a female’s sexual desirability peaks about age 22, then begins a slow decline.
Why?
It is all about reproduction. Were it not for that, men and women would throw rocks at each other.
A woman’s beauty is an outward display of her genetic fitness and fertility. Her beauty is intended to attract male mates.
Her decline in fertility is reflected on the outside by signs of aging.
Therefore, in the eyes of men, she is less desirable as a mate.
Women should devote their 20s to securing the best possible mate, instead of creating student debt to get a useless degree.
By age 35, her fertility will fall off a cliff.
Men who have options, will (as a matter of hard wired reproductive instinct) will pass her by to seek younger (more fertile) women.11 Reply- +1 y
Judging by the dislikes, you clearly struck a nerve of the snowflakes and male feminists. As you can see, people can't stand the truth you're preaching. Goes to show how weak minded and insecure people are. Let them delude themselves into thinking that they will look the same at 50 as they did at 20 😂
+1 ySpeaking in broad strokes, no, and that's based on human psychology. Their attractiveness is usually tied to youth as youth is correlated to fertility, which diminishes as they get older. That's why they're an overwhelming emphasis on their cosmetics to look younger.
With guys, it seems the older they get, to a certain extent, the more attractive they become bc chances are they are more financially situated, etc, which is where a man's attractiveness lies in part, in the ability to be a provider. Explains why very average or below average looking guys can get with hot girls. For guys' cosmetics, you can see commercials advertising a touch of grey.00 Reply- 1.4K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
+1 yNo. By thirty they are no longer sweet 20 year olds. By forty they are starting to sag and wrinkle. Youth and beauty is sought after the world around, by all ages and genders.
A woman's peak SMV is 22-24 years old. A man's is about 34-36. His financial success and maturity also comes into play.20 Reply 516 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Sophie Ellis-Bexter looks like she's 21, yet she's 41 with 5 children!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/O_LYIe3fRjwHonestly, nothing is going to compare to younger ladies for raw looks. It's pure biology. But there's no reason older people have to look bad. It's just that they fail to take care of themselves, put on weight, don't manage their stress, don't sleep enough, and eat pure shit. They just give up on themselves.

+1 yNo I don't. And they rarely do. My mom in her 60s doesn't look the same as when she was in her 40s and no where near as she looked in her 20s. Same goes for my grandmothers. Same goes for the majority of women. There is something we red pillers call "the wall". And it's very accurate in describing a female's decline in beauty when she exists her prime years.

Typically, slot of people dont get better as they age. However, some individuals got good Gene's and diets as lifestyles, or flat out guy their good looks with age.
So it really depends.00 ReplyI say women usually look the best on they 20s.. Some retain their looks and still good good despite age, and some do start to look better when they get older because they start to take care of themselves more.. +1 yEvery person is unique and peaks in their physical attractiveness at a different age. It's also notable that each unique person sees attractiveness differently and finds different age groups attractive than others.
That being said, I believe females generally peak in attractiveness around 17-18 and men around 24-25. Just my preference though.00 ReplyMost girls who don't try much look best in their 20s and taper in their 30s. Most girls who try in my opinion get hotter in their 30s, then taper in their 40s. Some genetic anomalies are hot through their 40s and 50s.

LOL so unexpected to see a la Duquesa de Alba here. This lady always creeped me as when I was a kid because of all the facial surgery around the mouth. It looks too weird. But anyways, I think 85 years old (as she was in that photo) is older than what the asker probably means by 'old'.
- +1 y
@AlienParasite Well I think pretty much everyone peaks in hotness in their teens through their mid-20s. Sure, some people manage to hold on past that but as a rule, it's rare for folks to keep getting hotter and hotter past their 20s. Sorry it's just true. :)

- +1 y
@TheDevilInside If I am lucky, I will live until I am a shriveled, old, sexy prune and then I can parade around in booty shorts and a crop top around the grandkids. You ladies will get so wet seeing my old ass it will be awesome!

@supercutebutt You're quite witty! :P I think girls tend to look hottest in their early to mid-20s.
- +1 y
You don’t think people can be good looking after a certain age. Sorry in your theory when you’re old you won’t be sexy.
- +1 y
@Sweetheart666 I am a guy so yes I will. We age well I am 43 and look 29.
- +1 y
@Solstice777 the lady in the picture is in her 70s-early 80s. She’s not a very flattering bathing suit either. Until you are in your 70s or 80s you may not find women that age attractive. I don’t personally find men that age attractive either. I like men within 15 years of me attractive. In 10 years, I’ll still find men within 15 years of me too. My grandmas were gorgeous and had boyfriends until they passed away from Alzheimer’s.
- +1 y
According to the guy you’re agreeing with Solstice- that won’t be possible for you to be pretty when you’re past a certain age. Based on the unflattering picture you posted of that woman, you feel the same.
- +1 y
@Solstice777 I highly doubt it. Stop disrespecting women. I literally don’t know any guy in their 40s that looks 29. Unless you’re full of plastic then you look like a freak.
- +1 y
@Sweetheart666 OK, you are now entering annoying territory. The question is: "Do you believe women get better looking as they get older?" And the answer is NO. If the question was: "Can an older woman be considered attractive?" Then that answer is YES. You have twisted the meaning of the question being asked and it is disingenuous because I have to believe you are able to comprehend simple questions and responses. I don't care if it's a woman or a man. As a general rule, adult people don't increase in hotness as they age. They peak somewhere in their teens and 20s and fall off after that. You are just arguing to argue at this point. This might also have something to do with age.
- +1 y
@Sweetheart666 Well then you are stupid look at people in movies and TV playing way younger ages than they are and they pass for those ages. I am 43 with the face of a young man. Anybody who does not know me personally has mistaked me for younger I even got carded by a guy I know buying alcohol to take home from the bar like 4-5 years ago.
Maybe they become more attractive mentally but get real the human body as it gets older begins to have a more difficult time maintaining the attributes that are more commonly considered as visually appealing. I'm 54 years old and I know as a fact that I have to dedicate far more many hours to maintain any kind of semblance of attraction and because I tend to be attracted to much younger women my struggle is even more urgent. With that said most women aren’t Jennifer Anniston’s. Sorry. But no most women don’t look better as they age. They gain weight, wrinkles and their breasts sag. It sucks but it’s reality. As to sex, practice is required to learn about your own body and your partners. Two horny high school kids might thick sex at that age is the best. In my case I just wanted to orgasm as quickly and as often as I could.
The more experience a person has the better the sex is.00 Reply741 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. A woman's character/personality and genetics are all factors. Depends on what you’re into.
All people who say no are just sheep going by the beauty standards that are set for society. It really depends on what you find beautiful, not what society has planted in your brain.16 Reply- +1 y
I think it’s the other way round
I think people who are lying about old people looking better are jus being sheep and trying to sound nice and caring towards old people
The people who say younger people are the more honest people who aren’t being sheep, were able to be honest with ourself that younger woman obviously look better, we don’t care what the other sheep say, were honest... nothing to do with society’s standards of beauty... it’s to do with our own standard of beauty - +1 y

If u say old people are hot you’re either
1. Lying to yourself
2. Have a weird taste
3. Need glasses - +1 y
Here’s the thing you don’t know about people. We all have varying subjective views on beauty that revolve around the current beauty standards. sure. But there are many other people who genuinely don’t have the same views of the beauty standard. There are many who honestly see aging as a beautiful trait physically and they seem to be attracted to it.
It’s not lying to themselves, they don’t need glasses. But they could have a “weird” taste. Still a taste though.
