Why do Chinese girls wear leggings under their pants?

This happens all the time, but I'm wondering if anyone knows why? Is it a cultural thing?

I wish I could do that! I honestly love how many layers the Asian girls in my class can wear without sweating. Like turtlenecks under hoodies under parkas. I’m legit jealous of them! I want to learn how they do it!!

God, I remember when my dad used to layer my clothes and I’ll come back home sweating like a cow, but what I can say Is It’s gonna take some time, dedication, to do that so, good luck ;)

I used to when I was younger, but my dad was a single dad so the older I started to get dressed myself.
