Pretty girl I grinded with at a club last week?

I'm really sorry this is such a long question but I thought by giving as much detail as possble it would help people figure out where I'm at.

OK so last week I was dancing in a club when I noticed this really pretty girl dancing next to me. I'm quite shy around girls and this was the first time I had ever gone clubbing.

I've never had a girlfriend before so I thought f*ck it I gotta grow up someday and so I went up to her and asked her what her name was, after she made me guess what her name was we chatted for a few minutes. I asked her if she had boyfriend and she told me how she recently broke up with him, she asked how many gfs I ever had so I panicked and lied to her that I've had a few but not had one in a while.

Anyway we began to dance when all of a sudden she starts grinding on me. She was sexy as hell and I was really nervous because I didn't really know what to do, then she turned around and grinded on me front ways staring in my eyes and holding my hands.

It all seemed to be going well until I asked he for her number when she kissed me on the cheek and replied come and find me and I will give it to you and she went off with her friends.

So after about 15 minutes or so I went looking for her and she took my hand and lead me to the dance floor where we grinded some more while holding hands, so I asked her again thinking she was after a chase, but same response I will tell you later. I bumped into her a few times afterward and she kept on making excuses etc so I was thinking I must have been reading into her too much.

So I give up on her after all the times she rejected me when she comes up to me, takes my phone out of my pocket and types her number in it.

I wasn't sure if she liked me or just felt sorry for me or something.

But the next day I decided to text her and she replies the next day, I texted her again and she never replied : /

Basically I want to know if any girls would ever act like this with a guy she liked and whether she wants me to text her again- is she just playing hard to get or something?

Please help me- it would really help me to understand girls a lot better, I would really appreciate all your opinions and advice :)

Shes playing games. If you really like her you've got to play. Next time you text her make a plan to meet up or go out on a date.

From the way she was acting, she seems interested but wants you to chase her a bit. Its a test to see if you really want her.

Text her back, but call her out on her behavior. After she responds, you could maybe something something along the lines of " Hey do you always take this long to get back to guys with your text messages? it makes me feel like your playing hard to get"

If she is playing, then you could say you assume she is interested. Tease her a bit and try to make plans to see her.

lol, this type of stuff happens all the time, she's playing hard to get because she gave her number to other guys so she's seeing which one of you wants her the most, women need to feel wanted, classic female behavior. Either that or she really thinks it was a mistake to give you her number..

I sometimes meet guys at clubs that I give my number to and then never talk to again. they were fun for one night but I don't want it going any further than that. most guys at clubs expect sex and that's really not my style. I know we won't become boyfriend and girlfriend or have anything real so I just don't reply to them again. that's probably why she did that

I would say she's playing hard to get.. that's the only was I see it.. first she does the chase thing then she doesn't answer texts.. it can't be she doesn't like u, she wouldn't give you her number otherwise.. even if you think its out of pity.. I know I wouldn't give my number to a guy I pitied that won't make a good relationship
