If they are trans men, yes. For things like ob gyn care, pregnancy, birth, abortion, birth control, etc because that still effects them.
And I guess male ob gyns also have relevant opinions on that sort of thing.
But the average cis guys? They can have opinions on whatever they want, clearly. But their opinions shouldn't ever carry more weight than the opinions of people who are directly effected by pregnancy, ob gyn health, etc
That depends on your life goals. If you want a husband and father for your children then the first two things are relevant. If you want your man to find you attractive then the last one is relevant. If you are not interested in men at all then none of these things are relevant.
Other than if president of USA didn't agree with abortions kinda matters because he could try to make it harder for women to get them. goes for any kinda male leaders. But otherwise nope not really other than what your opinion on it matters to the type of women would date him.
Yes if they are doctors. And even if they aren't they can have wisdom the woman lack, so you should always listen to opinions, but in the end you always should make up your own mind. Besides if you don't make men aware of the issues, they are less likely to be fixed, since less people are aware of them and can work towards removing them.
no i dont think so women's business is there own unless asked by a woman for said opinion , men who think that have a right are just boomers or some caveman still dragging his knuckles on the ground. if its a guy who identifies as a women they dont matter seeing how there living a lie anway
Yes, because legislators aren't all just going to be female, in fact, female lawmakers are most likely going to be the minority. Whether women like it or not, men who support their cause are pivotal in securing and protecting their own rights and privileges.
And if you are going to allow men who support you, by the virtue of fairness, you also have to allow the opposing views.
Yes. It's fallacious to say the opposite sex cannot know about the other. Where do you think everything we know comes from? I've had women who are doctors telling me about my body as well as trainers that are women. They don't need to be men to know how a man's body works. They sure as hell don't need to be men to be educated on matters that affect men. And men do not have to be women to understand either.
if men can't have opinions, women should shut the fuck up about male issues. Not like you don't already brush it under the rug. This sort of thinking is immature and fucking stupid. Grow up
1. Appearance - considering the majority of the world is heterosexual, yes what men think matters. Merely a question of how much, which men, and in what context
2. Contraceptive methods - irrelevant unless you're talking about abortion aswell. Or a religious context
3. Giving birth - socially speaking, yes. Legally speaking. No. Women get to unilaterally decide to get an abortion or keep the child
I always look out for a girl's needs when in a relationship, I believe in waiting to marriage to have sex and also believe in using protection so she doesn't get pregnant and that we practice safe sex at all times... My late Mom, would always tell a girl to treat me good if she was going to date me and of course she would want me to do the same in return
One of my biggest pet peeves is the idea that guys don't have a say in women's issues when those issues ALSO directly effect them. If it involves my wallet, my time or even my behavior I certainly have a say. It seems that to many, guys simply are not able to have a preference or even an opinion on gender issues.
I believe that if I was to come into agreement to have a child with a man and he decided to not want a family with me anymore then he deserves to be put on child support. Because creating a child is a permanent decision once a baby is here it is here, I can’t undo giving birth. I think what would help is once deciding child support the woman should be able to prove evidence that having the child was originally what both agreed on. That way the men that made it clear they didn’t want kids and took their personal precautions to not get a woman pregnant would not be subjected to paying for a kid they never intended to have.
@zed-789 what bothers me more is paternity fraud, and the fact that a guy is responsible for a child even if he didn't consent to the sexual act itself.
If men's opinions on women's issues are irrelevant, so are women's opinions on men's issues.
So many will say that men should not speak about women's issues, and then will speak against men who speak about men's issues, tell them that they're wrong, and tell us (womansplain) what our real problems are.
In the end our minds are too focused on individuality and we forget the fact that we to are animals, man and woman aren't equal and neither of them are superior they are made to mutually coexist together and the biological goal of all life forms is to reproduce so yes both parties should have equal weightage in their opinions.
In some cases. Birth for example, tho the women takes on a lot, most even, without the man it would be impossible. Excluding him simply because you do more work isn’t fair because that assumes he does no work. Can’t push men away the blame them for staying away. 🤷🏾♂️
Ofc because they have to do with men too. They aren't made in a vacuum. Appearance? Well ask men what they like and do it and you will look attractive to men. Or dont and you can expect to stay single. Obviously men are the best ones to give an opinion on something like appearance.
I mean sure they can say their opinions but they shouldn’t be the ones doing the deciding and have the final say of what passes

if they're not, can we please go back in time a few years and bitch slap all the women who feel that their opinions on MEN'S issues are relevant? Feminists need to understand, if men can't have an opinion on women, then women can't have an opinion on men, so they need to stfu and make us a sandwich.

I don't think men's opinions are irrelevant or should not be heard, I just don't think men should be decide what women can or can't do.
And vice versa
@Nachowedgie Yeah

A lot of this is projection really.

Well if our opinions on women's issues are to be discounted, then by same logic feminists should stop telling men how to act. Even Steven.
Yes, they have a right to say their opinion. However, anyone can have an opinion. That doesn’t necessarily mean it will be honored.
