Do you care about men's issues?
This question is one of those gender "A bad, gender B good" questions and I'm sure you and other angry men are going to be more than willing to cut into what I have to say, because of my gender alone so before I answer your question... I direct that question to me and ME alone as an individual, "Why should men care about MY feelings? or why should HE care about MY feelings?"
Why should men care about my feelings?
They don't have to. I don't know who they are, they don't know who I am. The same goes for women. If they want to hurt my feelings, go ahead. You can't be friends with everyone. But it's wrong to label a whole group the villain. Look at the individual and their actions, what they say. It's not because Hitler existed, that all Germans are bad. Look at one individual at a time.
Why should HE care about my feelings?
Because we're a team. As a couple, it's our duty to care for one another. I care about my boyfriend a whole lot and he can always come to me if something is wrong and we'll look for a solution together.
I want him to know without any doubt in his mind that he can count on me. Whether it's emotions, health, money, dreams. I'll be there. And I can say with confidence that he does these things for me as well.
That's just what happens when you love a person, You both go the extra mile to make sure that the other is okay.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yMost women have husbands, boyfriends, male children, grandfathers, fathers, cousins, uncles, and the like. When you are around men who are going through something terrible and they talk to you about it, you begin to understand the difficulties and pain they are going through which makes men's issues very very real. This has been my experience talking to men about women's issues. I don't expect them to care, but it's nice when they are open to listen or can relate it to a female family member or friend going through the same thing. Its so easy to be dismissive of something you aren't personally going through or never will, but harder to ignore when you are around someone and can see their actual struggle.

Opinion Owner+1 y@Ryfyle In what way is this emotional blackmail? Do you not have women in your life who speak to you about their problems. We all do this as normal human beings. It is up to you to decide whether or not you care about those things or want to take action if the situation calls for it. You can't actually force anyone to care which I'm sure you're well aware of.

Opinion Owner+1 y@KrakenAttackin I dated a man with a literal disability that he'd had since birth for 4 years and I in no way considered him as having failed or having been a weak man. Quite the opposite. It took a lot of strength on his part to deal with a lot of BS in his life and to come out still being as strong as he was (unfortunately he died at the age of 30). But of course "all women are the same right?" I point this out to say that dating someone like him, as I said in my post, makes you understand to some small degree what it's like for a man like him to navigate the world and how hard it can be. This is an experience you might not know having not been around someone like him. You love this person and care about them and their issues. Why you all seem to have an issue with a woman who cares or a man who cares about the other gender is beyond me, but I knew who he was, and I know who I am and will continue to care because I have no desire to be selfish and think I live in some vacuum where I should just ignore the world around me. Respect to those who can see beyond themselves and have something called "empathy" and understanding for others.

+1 yI care about MY women's issues. Not the women's issues that are mine, the issues that affect the women in my life.
Do women care that 3 out of 4 homeless people are men?
Do women care that men are significantly more likely to be the victim of violent crime, and more likely to die by violence?
Do women care that mental health services for men receives but a fraction of that for women?
Do women care that they are far less likely to die in an act of war (since they have no draft) than a man?
Do women care that men receive significantly higher sentences for the same crimes?
They DO very much care when it is THEIR man (husband, brother, son, father) but some rando man? Nope. We don't live in a world of altruism.

+1 yif we're talking about equality, such as pay/professional development, and human rights issues (such as body autonomy).. why not?
You don't have female friends, future girl friend/wife, future daughters, future nieces, future grand daughters that wouldn't be impacted? You'd want the best for them, no?
And it's not just the Western world, but developing worlds where women don't have as many rights and the pay gap is even wider.
Look at what the Taliban is doing again after US forces left. 20 years of development to waste. They're not allowing women to have an education and limiting where they can work. That's awful and backward.

First of all because I care about women second of all because I like the knowledge I like to be able to understand the world's not all about me
Every single one of us are different no matter if you're male or female some female problems are not going to be the same as other female problems
. But if you can understand who a person is and if you understand her goals what she wants in life the things that she likes the things that she doesn't like then you get to know who she truly is even deeper and for me that's important because when I'm with somebody I'm with them no matter the happy times or the sad times I want to make sad times even better quicker faster and you need to know knowledge you need to have that knowledge all knowledge in order to do that and be able to communicate with her the way that I want to anyway14 Reply585 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. there's no legal or moral obligation for men to care about women's issues. of course women can deny men the pussy thus forcing men to care but men overall do not have enough on the offer table individually to get women to care considering that manpower has been monopolized by the government via the police force, the military, firefighters etc. thus each individual man is expendable and disposable

It is settled. They just want to complain and politicians are making up issues to manipulate women and get votes.
Western women crying oppression. What a load of crap.

+1 yMen shouldn’t. I don’t. I care about men’s issues. Men have suffered long enough at the hands of the tyrannical feminists and the matriarchy. All women, who do not actively fight against feminism and it’s effects are silent partners, whether intentionally or by being derelict knowing men no longer have a voice.

+1 yEmpathy and knowledge. It's good to hear about someone's perspective of life based on their experiences. Hell, you don't even need to agreed with their beliefs.
It's just about understanding people's struggles and to make life better for said people. By the same token, women should for men's issues as well.10 Reply454 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. The primary reason why men should worry about women's rights other than the obvious (we all have mothers, sisters, grandmothers, daughters, friends and acquaintances who are women) is that if men are not involved in the conversation then we get left behind in the legislation. Think the disastrous Title IX decisions, The Duluth Model, etc.
00 ReplyNewsflash most people don't actually give a f*ck about anyone who isn't in there immediate circle men or women.. yeah you can have empathy and understanding, but most people don't care about issues pertaining to the sexes, truly. Men don't care about women's issues just like how women don't really care about men's issues. We all don't care about people who aren't around us.

Wasn't thing about Ayn Rand when I posted my comment but her thoughts on acting in ones own self interests vs altruism is something I subscribe to
You talk as if there is a gender war, but both men and women should care about any and all issues that plague humans.

+1 yThey shouldn’t because men have their own issues to worry about and women perpetuate said issues men are facing.
