my story: (by the way im sharing it because i dont wanna feel weird about this anymore n sorry for my grammar i'm not a native speaker of English)

in tenth grade I was hanging out with some classmates in the garden and one of my friends (i don't wanna give anyones name) was recording with his phone for something. and I had a stomach ache that day. so I tried to fart silently but it came out loud and I was a little bit embarrassed because there was 2 male in the group but I tried not to care because everyone was laughing and I laughed too. it was ok for that moment and i didn't want to bring to their mind so i didn't tell him to delete the video but i wish i did. because next day i learned that they shared the video with their friends and people in other classes. nearly everyone was making joke about it. I was excluded for a while in high school because of this. i even remember i cried because of it several times

I actually loved making people laugh by farting, male and female, so I fart all the time in front of everyone. It instantly raises the mood of everyone in the room. Anyway, I was partnered up with a quiet guy during a physics lab in 11th grade and I was trying to open him up because he wasn’t really talking, so I told him to pull my finger. He did, and I farted. He acted like he wasn’t amused, so I farted again and he started chuckling. I pressed my hand on my stomach and that caused me to fart and burp at the same time, at which point he was cracking up, as was everyone surrounding us. My farts had done their job, and I should’ve stopped there... but I felt a few more gas bubbles building up in my bowels. It’s my policy to fart and burp whenever I feel the urge, so I wasn’t going to hold these in. I farted a few more times, each one getting wetter than the last, much to everyone’s amusement. I belched after nearly every fart I let out. I was craving the attention and didn’t consider that the wetness of my farts was a warning, but I finally just bore down and let out a huge fart... and I sharted. Straight up just shat my pants. It was funny, don’t get me wrong, but it was embarrassing as hell. Everyone was laughing at me except for the quiet guy, who was more sympathetic.

first of all, I'm ngl I definitely admired your self-confidence. and i was really surprised that you were so open to fart in front of people bc i definitely wasn't. I was even feeling so embarrassed when anyone talks about me farting. I would definitely lose my mind if I sh*t to my pants in front of my friends lol. by the way i wonder how did you handle it after you sharted? did you leave it like that or?

Sorry for the late response. I pretty much just went red in the face and busted out laughing with everyone else, then went to the bathroom to go take a shit to make sure I got it all out and changed into my gym shorts that I had in my backpack. The embarrassment faded pretty quickly because the laughing wasn’t really mean spirited in any way, they were laughing with me and not at me. I just ended up with a funny story to tell of when I tried to fart but accidentally sharted and soiled myself.
And as for the self confidence thing, there are a few reasons I’m comfortable farting. It’s just a natural bodily function, so I figure it’s better out than in. Plus if I’m deliberately farting to make other people laugh, as long as they aren’t stuck up, they won’t think any less of me for it. I’ve intentionally gassed out people I’m trying to piss off by letting out a “silent but deadly” fart and rolling up the widows with my siblings in the car without warning them about my fart, for instance. But if I’m just ripping loud farts at school and telling guys to pull my finger, and I see they have a positive response to it (I. e. laughing) then I know it’s safe for me to rip one.
