I just work retail... Walk around. Then come home. Nobody to text or talk to or visit.
Nobody checking up on me.
I eat at times. I dont eat in much excess but i look forward to food. Thats almost about it.

I tell you what: head on over to Gutenberg. org. It's a repository of public domain books, which you can read, free and legal. Many of the greatest works of literature are available there. Pick one, read it. Expose yourself to new ideas; start asking new questions. Heck, drop me a line, and we can talk about it.

If you prefer to listen instead of read, many of those books have public domain recordings over at Librivox.

@Isebdiegrv I'm rereading Les Miserables; I read through it in eighth grade, because a classmate wanted someone else to keep prodding him forward (he was going to see the musical, and wanted to have a solid grasp of what was going on). I think it kind of annoyed him that I rushed through it and finished it at the same time he did. But that was a long time ago, and I'm curious to see if my opinion's changed, given how different my life is now. It hasn't; Hugo was a fantastic writer.

Many people do. It can be hard to connect with others and spend a lot of energy especially if you're introverted. Couple that with the pandemic and burnout it can be difficult to do things if you don't have the accountability that other people bring.

Yet you still gotta try. Finding people that can force you out of your shell will help.

You don't have family or any friends? That sounds pretty lonely. Sometime you have to force yourself to go out. Maybe that would also move you to get off this site. It can be addicting but even more so to people who only have GaG as their social outlet.

I have no life. I just go to work and back home, and that's it. A big part of the reason is the pandemic---it is ravaging my country to such an extent that the government has imposed a state of emergency and a curfew to keep people indoors, to fight the disease.

None. They are either dead and the ones left did not care about me for a long time. The rest i separated and stay away from because i had to go no contact with narcissistic parents to save my sanity and peace. I was being abused. I didn't ever have large families anyway. I never really was close to any of them either.

No friends since high school when i became a loner. I was very depressed in those years and alone, being alone really fcked up my mental health tbh. So its been like a decade give or take of being totally alone friendless. I was also homeschooled most of HS because i was doing so bad in school.
