Do girls like guys who look intimidating?

I’m roughly 6‘2”, have an athletic build, am typically clean-shaven, and like my hair cut ridiculously short. I’m also fairly shy and seem to have a more serious disposition. I’ve been told I look intimidating when you add all that up. I’ll admit that I can be hard to read and I will be intimidating if I have to (i.e., if I’m out with a girl and another guy starts hitting on her and she says “no” but the guy won’t leave), but once you get beneath the surface, I’m pretty laid back and fun-loving. Do girls like guys who have an intimidating type of vibe?

I don't like that type of guy exclusively, I like all different kinds. But it DOES happen. My current guy is the intimidating type, lol. He can intimidate the s.hit out of people when he has to, but generally he's very sweet and protective and makes a joke out of everything. He just LOOKS scary. He can BE scary and DO scary things, but a lot of people have that potential. =P

I think a little intimidating can be good. Because it makes us feel safe, and girls love that.

But a little too much intimidating can never be good because it makes girls feel you could hurt them.

You say you look intimidating but beneath the surface are pretty laid-back so that's a good combination I guess, because you can make her feel safe and not scared.

Yeah I am attracted to intimidating looking guys but they intimidate me too much for me to approach them. I do go for the tough guy look because it makes me think the guy is strong, masculine and a threat to other guys and not weak

everybody tells me that I am intimidating. every time I go to a bar, people always ask me if I am a bouncer there. Maybe because I am 6'4" 280lbs. One time I was behind this dude at a bar. I heard that dude say that if this bouncer touch y'all get him. I was getting something to drink lol.

some girls like that, but if there like me, you would have to really show her that your interested first, because she would be to intimidated to ask you, even if she was interested

There are many different types of girls out there. ^_^ I think if you act nice and smile girls will like you. If you are confident and friendly I think your good to go.
