Girls, Why is it considered rude to ask a Womens age?

Um it’s rude to ask anyone’s age once over 25.
It’s a social etiquette thing. Sort of like you cover your mouth when you sneeze. Or you say I’m good thanks to how are you. Or you don’t ask someone how much money they make. It’s just social etiquette. Basically you don’t ask questions to someone that forces them to answer something they may not want to tell you. You allow someone to mention things they want.

I'm not sure, but I've never understood it, myself. I know I'm still young, but I've never been ashamed of my age and don't think I will be decades from now, either. Your age is a fact of life and I'm not sure why people get so touchy about it or falsely believe that a higher age lowers their worth.

I think it might be because women think that men will judge them. Suppose, you see a beautiful women, then she tells you to guess her age. You guess it and tells her that she might be 28 whereas she might be 30. So, this really hurts people because after all, age is considered equally to how well you have taken care of yourself and perceived as how others look at us.

When anyone asks my moms age she tells them 19 and they get the message. Some people look young for their age and once people know they usually say wow you’re le or wow you look so young for your age.

Because women are taught that their youth/beauty is what matters most, so they still want to cling onto their young adulthood
