Is it rude in Your country to ask a woman her age?

Some westerners say so, but I’m not exactly sure about what’s up in the East, as they have different culture of the West. Many eastern women gave me their ages without me asking.

Which guy, Mario or the barman? Weight can be offensive. When I got judged as being ‘skinny’ after weighing myself, I got offended. I doubt the offended ever apologised.

Well, I've seen many people doing this all the time, I don't think it's considered rude at all. The problem is there's a lot of ageism and stigma around ageing, as the other commenter said, so some women might be reluctant to share their real age
