Today’s a good example of why I’m considering this. I thought it would be a regular day after work at home but he’s not back.

I don’t mind him, but he goes out very often. So doing my own thing would be kinda cool too. Particularly today I did do my makeup and hair, plus I was planing on giving him a special treat but him coming drunk is really a turn off for me. So much hard work for sitting at home 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't mind at all. My wife and I both have our guys' nights and girls' nights. Well, before COVID anyway, and hopefully we can resume at some point. We don't even need to know where we're going. The way I see it is that if we can't trust each other to do such things, I don't see how we're ever going to trust each other unless we lock each other in cages.

We do lots of other things to build trust in each other. We talk regularly. We meet each other's friends and also hang out together regularly. We talk about what happened when we were away from each other. There's mutual confidence there we have in each other that even if we go out and have some fun and even drink away from each other, we'll always be there for each other when we get home.

Cheers! Well, we both have a party side to us. We don't live for the party but we certainly look forward to our weekend parties. We kind of took it a bit too far when we first started dating and we'd wake up both hungover and groaning in bed and doing rock-paper-scissors to decide who gets breakfast. :-D But you know, I really think trusting requires taking a gamble. If someone wants to cheat on their SO, they can if they have any degree of privacy at all. Again I don't see how we can guarantee anything if we don't lock each other up in cages and linger around each other all day, and I neither want that for myself nor my wife. We have great trust in each other and so we can set each other free.

It bothers me that sometimes he comes at me like: Hey we’re gonna buy food from “x place” what do you want? Since COVID we can’t eat in these places so he brings them over to eat, smoke and drink more. So now I have to lend them the tv to watch a game, clean up any mess he left before they arrive and he does this about 1-2 times a week.

Well, to be honest. It’s actually the other way around. He always goes on Friday’s and Saturday’s, sometimes weekdays. So when I call him up cause he’s not home yet he tells me he’s out and he’ll get home later.

It’s not like I want to tag along because I’ve been with them before and it’s just drinking, smoking and talking shit about work. I was thinking that maybe I should do the same… just go out and have fun, the thing is I don’t have girlfriends because hanging out with girls is boring, all they do is complain and don’t take advice, then they end up making the same mistakes blabla. Like I would be going out alone.
