What does it mean when you get called 'Man eater'?

For some odd reason I've been called this a few times. Some have said it in a playful manner, & others a it more serious. I don't know if it's a compliment or an insult.

It could mean he realizes you're intelligent and he won't be able to game you. You're out of his league- he's assuming you're a player and hasn't taken the time to get to know you but he knowns his usual shenanigans won't work on you. Side note: Unless you are a player.
