its just some thing he says man. lol no but really a lot of people do that, it doesn't necessarily your not feminine its just something he likes to say after every sentace like people who say "dude" a lot or "bro". if for some crazy reason he's saying that because you have manly qualitys don't get upset, me and other guys I know love girls with guy like charactoristics. Not physical charactoristics but like when they act like boys kinda idk.
Could you give an example like in a sentence, how he used 'man'? Is it like "oh man, I forgot something." "Man, I can't tell you enough how much I like that."

My noyfriend calls me man and kiddo too while I'm 2 years older. Example: "no man that's not the reason" I don't understand too. Sometimes he valls me by my first name but when we're messaging, he calls me baby, hun, dumpling
