If you haven’t spoken to her in a while because you got into a fight, I’d say wait it out for a bit before you try to reach out if she doesn’t hit you up first. If you didn’t get into a fight or anything and you are just hesitant to message her, don’t be nervous! Girls like it when guys message first, especially if they are shy or scared. Chances are they are thinking the same thing as you are right now! They are probably wanting to text you but they are scared because they don’t want to bother you or are just shy about it. :)

Yeqh we did get into a disagreement i was too needy and clingy but when reached out today and I think I got a 2nd chance but playing it reserved

Good question that. However, it depends on the individual and how you reach out as opposed to how long you wait.
Only you can gauge that by what has gone on previously.
