What does it mean when a girl says yes and no when asked single?

I am going out with this girl and she did a Snapchat questionnaire and someone asked if she was single and she said yes and no. What does that mean?

That means she doesn’t want to make her relationship public yet, but also wants to address she isn’t available to talk to. Personally I think it’s juvenile when people do that. Just admit you are dating someone

Maybe it’s a bit complicated but could be something like “dating/talking to someone someone but not officially girlfriend/bf”
So then she’s not completely “taken” but she’s not really “available” either... that’s what I see it as

It means no. There's no in between. Even if technically it's no, she's interested or someone else is in the picture to some degree, which equals no. Or, she doesn't want a relationship.

For me, I use single to mean unmarried or engaged (or pre-engaged.) If I am just dating, I consider it single. Maybe she is dating someone but it isn't serious yet.

Maybe that it’s complicated. She’s in a on or off again relationship, she is technically single but still has love/feelings for someone else, etc
