Ladies, why is it so hard for you to admit when you are wrong?

Is this just the women I have dated? Do other men feel this way as well?

Ladies, do you have any insight into this? I feel like I'm not just making this up. Not trying to start a war, just looking for an honest answer over the internet lol.

I've had a few serious relationship, and dated quite a bit inbetween. I find that the women I encounter have a very hard time admitting to any fault of their own. It's like they physically can't bring themselves to say the words, I'm sorry. It always seems to be someone elses fault.

Or if they can admit it, they will try to soften their words to make it seem like whatever they did, wasn't as bad for (insert whatever reason). They aren't real with themselves the way I find my male friends to be.

I feel like it honestly makes it hard to trust the things that women tell me sometimes, because it always seems to go through this rose colored filter of theirs.

Again, not trying to bash women. Just looking for some honest insight

The day you meet a woman like me you won't like it either. I am one of those who say things to the face openly and who admit my mistakes when I have them. But think about it if all the women you have dated have been the same, won't it be that you have the error and don't you see it? Or maybe you keep choosing the same type of women

You're completely correct.
It very rare to find a woman who doesn't try to justify every shitty thing she does.
They don't care if you prove them wrong, they usually won't admit it.
Even some of the ones in your comment section are guilty of this, I've witnessed it here.

I'm not a lady. Just here to say I agree with you on everything you said. The hypothesis is, women have less responsibility in society and put more pressure on their looks and reputation (this being other women doing so), so feel more shame when they get blamed for something.

Yeah man. I don't know. I have heard a lot of talk about how fragile men's egos are. But you question a woman, and you are gonna start a shit storm.

I often find that I just have to keep my mouth shut, or lie, cause they can't handle the real answer. But this is very hard to do over a long time.

I don't even bother to do that. And the weirdest thing is, I think women respect your more when you don't put up with their shit. I all but gave up trying to find someone, so I have nothing to lose in not putting up with their shit. And like I said, they seem to respect it a lot more when you stop giving a fuck about their egoes and emotions.

For me it’s the opposite lol I’m always the one who apologizes first and admit my mistakes while all the guys I dated were busy sulking away stroking their fragile ego. I think it’s mostly just ego tbh, no one likes admitting they did something wrong, it’s pride. Any mature person (guy/girl) should be able to recognize their mistakes

Lol, I have had other women tell me this as well, but my experience is the opposite. But maybe opposites just attract. I do think the personality type I tend to be attracted to has a lot to do with it.

I try to avoid making mistakes as much as possible because they're embarrassing for me, but when I do, I definitely admit I'm wrong and apologize out of embarrassment. I'm an ESL teacher and if I have young students and make a mistake, I even apologize to them, despite them being 8 year olds and me being able to hide it if I wanted to.

The only thing I won't do is apologize when I've done nothing wrong just because someone is offended. If anything, I'm more likely to be a smart-ass and do the "I'm sorry you feel that way" non-apology just to rub salt in the wound. People like this just want power over others and it's never about feeling like someone hurt them or broke their trust.

I don't have any issue in apologizing when I'm wrong.. probably because I feel like I am always wrong lol
