Ok to ask her former work ( co workers ) what happened to her?

i had talked to her there numerous times and she did work there until a couple weeks ago then she disappeared. i know she's still friends with some of the girls who work there as i've seen pictures of them together on social media. so they obviously know the story as to what happened and why she stopped coming in.

note i haven't talked to her since she left and not sure if she is avoiding me or we just haven't talked cause she doesn't work there anymore. she is taking a course or something school related in septemeber so she wasn't going to be here anyways but she left work a couple weeks early for no reason

is it ok if i ask one of these girls about her and see if they can fill in the blanks as to whats going on with her?

I would just say something like “Hey, I noticed _________ hasn’t been around. Does she still work here?”

Something to that effect. That is harmless in nature. I wouldn’t pry into details if the coworkers don’t offer them up. Then it starts to get creepy. Know what I mean?

i wasn't going to ask any specific details , i already know that she's going to another city for school in the fall , just upset i never even got to talk to her before she left

but keep it brief just say what ever happened to ;;;;; she hasn't been around in weeks , without asking anything private or for details , its possible they'll just say she went off to school and such , who knows how they'd react

Yep, that’s what I would do. Best case scenario is word gets back to her and she is flattered to have been asked about. Who knows from there?

You never know where things could go. Probably unlikely tbh, but I have seen stranger things happen! ❤️
