There is no time to lay around or have fun. I'm busy from 6am to 9pm everyday and it's pretty rare to find any free time in between there.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIf you are a person for whom laying around and doing nothing is the goal, have at it, but I am my own person who has always had my own thoughts, dreams, goals, and ambitions in life. Started my own business when I was young, and have built my own wealth through hard work and determination. This is important to me. I am passionate about what I do. I love what I do and laying around doing nothing is counterintuitive to all of that. Plus there are plenty of jobs that don't involve...uh, being covered in grease and getting carpal tunnel.

+1 yBecause women are humans with dreams and aspirations.
Once upon a time they dreamed of a life in servitude and drudgery married to a Banker.
these days girls dream bigger, Marine Biologist, flying in the military, a lawyer, a software engineer, an airline pilot. the list goes on.
a life is the to be lived and experiences gained, no matter the gender, no matter the sexuality or ethnicity.410 Reply- +1 y
Nope don’t agree, we have two university grads working on my Software engineering team, they both want to go in to the Space industry.
I have a manager who wants to retire early and open her own training facility to teach coding to underprivileged kids.
Life is what we make of it, we keep our dreams with us, some we achieve, others we chase but know we likely will never get, however the key thing is we tried.

I grew up in inner city Newcastle England, one of the poorest areas in the UK. We could not afford to own a car, holidays were not really a thing, fashion was whatever the local charity shop had.
I now run and manager a number of teams / managers and have a decent property portfolio.
Those Software Engineers come from a variety of backgrounds including UK Armed Forces (def not sitting behind a desk), additionally they are used for customer problems etc, this includes mining industry, Power industry, Agriculture and raft of other sectors, this means site visits often in austere locations, not always behind a desk.
Oh and we are looking at circa $60k plus which is not small change to bring home to a relationship. - +1 y
I’ve completely given up on life. I’m never going to have someone who loves me, I’m never going to have a family, and I’m never going to have a job that doesn’t make me suicidal. I’m going to grow “old” alone working like a slave and waiting to die. The best I’ll ever feel is when I’m drunk and/or high. I’ll probably suicide when my parents are gone. I really hate being trans.

Shouldn’t take your insecurities out on other people to make yourself feel better, coming from a broken home is not an excuse to be little people for what they want in their lives, just trying to pull the sympathy card

@ElizaPam one of my social group of friends is Trans. When pubs started opening up here for food etc, I took her on a date as she had been stuck at home during lockdown.
She grew up in a fairly racist and homophobic part of London, she realised early on that living there was not really a good idea so she moved.
Yeah she had some crap jobs working out a career but she’s now a solicitor / lawyer.
We can as humans sit back and swear at the world and our lives or look at what we need to do to change them. - +1 y
ChrisMaster69 don’t even bother I’ve tangled with her on many questions before and honestly this is most likely a troll account, that’s what it seems like from the questions and opinions that are on there

+1 yHow the fuck does getting a "free ride through life" empower ANYONE? Maybe it doesn't occur to you, but some people actually like, or even love, what they do. When that's the case, it's not work.

+1 yBecause not everyone has the same goals in life, not everyone wants to sit around on their lazy asses all day when there’s a whole world to see. I wanna travel and explore. Don’t go putting women down for what they want just because you want something different. Bitch move.

Some people forget what year we’re living in 😂

@chocolatesprinkies I think some societies refuse to move from the 6th Century,

Yep so it seems. It’s sad how people fought so hard for women to actually have a place in society and be able to do the things we’re able to do these days and people make comments like that. It annoys me a lot. Like people are free to do whatever they want but trying to bring women down for wanting more in life is just not it 😅
+1 yActually, that's what I'm doing now, and I'm not even married (it's a long story). I get up in the morning whenever I feel like getting up, and I don't have to worry about horrible traffic, bitchy co-workers, and bosses with impossible demands to meet.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIt's not the dream life for anyone with even a tiny bit of ambition or pride. There is no pride in freeloading off someone else. I can and will provide for myself at all times, because I can. It's really that simple. I don't expect, or even want, to sit on my ass my entire life while someone else provides for me. I also never want to put myself in a situation where I'm unhappy but trapped, where I can't leave because I can't support myself. I'm an adult, and I act like one.
10 Reply2K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Because for many, it isn't. Like for me, I enjoyvworking my ass off to earn my own money, to own my own property and to be independent. I'm not a parasite.

I enjoy my job. If I stayed at home I'd fall into a deep depression and probably end up killing myself. Work gives me a reason to get up in the morning. Sense of stability and normalcy.

You're right I don't. You can believe it or not choose not to do physical labor.

Also dont have a degree... Learned on the job. Moved my way up. But I've been working to make a living since I was 15 so I've worked shitty retail and restaurant jobs too.
+1 yFor me personally I just dont like the idea of having to ask someone if I can spend their money

No it’s not 😂 I was not and am not rich but I’m in university studying criminal justice and stocks, Oprah wasn’t rich, Jeff Bezos was born to teen parents and did not grow up wealthy either so don’t try to justify your laziness by claiming that poor people can’t do anything with their life and are just going to end up stuck in a dead end job
There are no free rides. If you do that you'll become reliant on your man and you think a man will just let you lay around the house?

I’m sorry you’re hurting. But a lot of women want careers, or at least the opportunity to have a career.
