Am I the only female here that thinks men staying at home whilst women work abit sickening?

I’m not married/ in a relationship but if I was the idea of my partner staying at home looking after children sickening. I really can’t think of a man like that.

It's a big question the other way around as well.
I wouldn't mind doing the working - but if I'd then have to also suffer her negging as to how she is bored at home, I'd very much expect her to get involved and help me with my business. Or to at least keep the home perfectly clean, do grocery shopping and be great to our (future) children. Plenty to do, but one needs to be involved with it.

There’s nothing wrong with a man looking after a child or cleaning a home or preparing a meal.


The same as there’s nothing wrong with a woman bringing up baby cooking and cleaning. Not everything has to be designated to one gender.

I think if you are ok with the inverse of that, with the man providing and the woman staying home, then not being ok with it switched around, makes you a hypocrite.

That’s the thing though. I would like to stay at home and look after everything there but I feel I am expected to work. I would feel guilty not providing any money whilst my husband works hard

I think that's sexism. Especially in 2022. Gender roles don't exist anymore. Women killed it with Feminism so they need to suck it up and provide for their man if needed.

What if its his day off and you have work that day? Or if he's a doctor and you're working in the day and he has a late night shift so during your absence he takes csre of the kids?
