Guys do you think that I am being creepy for doing this on Instagram? What should I do next?

There is this cute guy that I just saw on Instagram and I followed him. And i felt dumbfounded because he reminded me so much of 2 of my former crushes. He looks exactly just like 2 of my former crushes. They are all from the same country as him. My former crushes have left so it’s really painful to see this Instagram guy as he reminds me of what I have missed and past memories that i had with the two of them.

But I find this guy to be really attractive and would like to get to know him cause we have a lot in common. I find myself feeling obsessed with him as he reminds me of two of my ex crushes. I find my behaviors to be creepy and stalkerish. But this guy looks exactly like my type. Do you think that it’s creepy to get obsessed with a random guy like this? Should I just unfollow him to get rid of past memories of my ex crushes and this weird obsession? Or even try to talk to him instead?

Here's what I did: I stalked his profile daily. And I also looked at his insta story a few minutes after he posted it. I don't know him at all. He doesn't know me either.

I don't think it's stalkerish or creepy to think he reminds you of people you had crush on before. It's actually very common for people to have crushes that are similar because that's what they're into. And he's your type, like you just said. You should try talking to him, reply to his story when he posts something interesting and take it from there.

Thanks but the truth is that he is a foreigner and we don't know each other at all so I think it would be weird to do so.

Oooh, okay. Well, if you don't really know him, if you live in different countries, and if the memorioes of old crushes that he brings back make you upset, then unfollow him and move on. I know how much it sucks to have someone in your life who reminds you of people with whom things really didn't work out in the past.

But if they don't make you upset, and if you're genuinely interested, then just bite the bullet and text him. Nothing wrong can come out of it if you just say hi and say that his Insta is cool, or something like that.
