Girls, ok I'm writing a cozy mystery and need to decide on the death scene of the main dead character?

The character who gets killed is 16yo high school hotshot Kevin, who's been flinging with multiple girls and one of them finally takes him out. So how should this boy's character die?

Kevin is found dead with a classic knife in the back, whodunnit

Kevin is found dead shot in the gut or head

Kevin is found dead with an axe in his back

A good mystery leaves clues from the very start. An axe takes more strength to use than a gun. A gun requires some level of firearms familiarity. Even the angle of the knife can tell something about who the killer is. Try to think about it from the killers perspective, not just the observer.

actually, i don't wanna go the poison roue plus its a cozy mystery so the death is supposed to be more i your face and the boy Kevin who's killed he is clearly killed by a woman/girl and its safe to say a lot wanted him dead so they probably ended him in a gory way
