Is chemistry mutual if I feel nervous around a girl I like?

She seems to be a little nervous herself. We've known each other for a few years and spoken heaps. But I'm getting butterflies/feeling sick in my stomach when I see her.

It's called anxiety. Chemistry has nothing to do with that. The closer you are to a person by approximately the more you and or the other person feels something like attraction. But it doesn't always mean that it is. You have to know what you're referring to. If you are feeling sick in your stomach that is either anxiety, gas, and or intuition trying to tell you something about the person. And usually when I felt that in my stomach it is either bad anxiety or something that isn't good. When you are nervous your body is only responding to your nervousness and who or what is the cause of the nervousness. If you say you like her, you need to tell her. But remember that there isn't much of a guarantee she feels the same. You won't know unless you tell her and she verbally says something. Both of you just sound like shy and or backward people. And that kind of reaction is natural between shy and backward people. Again, unless the person confirms to you verbally, it may just be simply nervousness, anxiety or just simple attraction. But that again, doesn't always mean they see you or desire the same thing.

The thing is she starts fiddling with her collar and name badge when I talk to her. She also got all concerned when she thought I had quit my job, apparently she went all reserved and then was relieved when I didn't leave. When she saw me for the first time after not seeing her for 3 months, she called out my name in a happy way and waved to me. But I feels a slight shyness vibe between us
