The other night I was at a bar and saw who I thought was my good friend from behind. My friend and I always give eachother a playful pat on the butt, so as I walked to the bar I gave her a pat and said, "what's up, Kim?" To my horror it wasn't her! I apologized and explained how I thought she was my friend and that I'm not a perv. She was so cool about it and even laughed. I just wonder how most women would react.

I accidentally brushed up on a girl’s butt when I wasn’t paying attention at Panera while I was with my wife and kids getting their soda. It was HORRIBLE. I still feel awful about it even though it was completely by accident and I didn’t even notice there was another human being standing next to me but the worst part is that she looked to be 17-18 and she was gorgeous so it looked like something someone would do on purpose. What really shocked me is that I was frantically apologizing but she just smiled and laughed.

It happens, with me it’s not being mistaken for someone else but an accidental brush against the booty sometimes. It’s easy enough to tell the difference based on their reaction. I just laugh it off, or say something like “By gosh I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!”

Lol, totally! I give a lot of people the benefit of the doubt. It’s easy to read when people are genuine or not (for me at least), but a lot of people are easy going and know mistakes happen, especially in settings like bars or clubs where there are tons of women in crowds.

Well, first thing, I didn't "grab" her ass, I gave it a gentle pat. Secondly, if you read my entire post you would know the reason. Thirdly, she was a little pissed at first but most women can judge a person. She could tell from my genuine reaction that it was a mistake. Having said that, I do understand how you feel. I wouldn't have blamed her if she wouldn't have accepted my apology.
