This has happened to me a once or twice. Last time it was at a bar and a random girl grabbed my butt. I just turned around and asked her if she just did what I thought she did. Then we started talking about door knobs and what kind of music she liked... Sort of strange. I guess it got my attention though.
Other times it was upper class girls in high school when I was a lower classmen. They used to do that all the time.
It doesn't make me mad. Although I could see in certain situations how it would be inappropriate or annoying. It's different for a woman because she would most likely feel disrespected or violated. I do not feel as though it was threatening or anything, just rather surprising and more funny then sexual.
LOL that actually happened to me not too long ago. Honestly, it all happened so fast that I really didn't know what to make of it. And...I'm not really sure what I was supposed to make of it. I've heard of some guys making a huge deal about it which I wouldn't do, but at the same time it's not really an appropriate way to get someone's attention. I just gave her a strange look and blew it off, not really sure how guys are supposed to handle that lol.

If she's someone I have no interest in, I'll either arch my eyebrows and just move on. Or I'll mention to her not to do it again.
If I do have interest in her, I'll play along by saying "Easy, tiger" and claim that I have feelings. I'm not a piece of meat. Which is actually true - if a girl wants me for sex, she's got to put some work into it.
This happens to me from time to time at bars or parties. I'm pretty used to it. I might turn to see who it was but, unless I'm interested in the girl, I usually just act like I didn't notice.

I'd feel very awkward and uncomfortable actually but I would try to laugh it off.
I would react by smiling and looking behind me and would find it flattering but feel that it's only fair game to grab her butt back
