So, someone asked me what I was up to today. I answered I was at school. They asked back, "you're in school?". I had a simple reply if "yes". Come back, and I was blocked. What would make you block someone for such an answer or chat? I find it a bit comical to block someone for this.

I would be confused as to why someone would block you. I guess people must be weirded out that older adults are in college… But I go to college and I see 30-70 year olds taking courses for the hell of it or to start a different career. I see nothing wrong with an older adult who is in college, trying to find a new career, just starting, etc. Good for them! I give you props.
I guess it’s their loss, getting an education is good. But if someone asks next time, tell them you’re in college, and explain why. Otherwise, it kinda leaves them in an awkward position wondering if you’re underage.

Lmao i just dont want to date anyone else whos in school. Some struggle enough trying to balance work and a relationship but when you add in school, pets, kids, family, friends, etc… its like damn what do they have time for lol

When someone says they're in school I assume they're in high school or younger. I'd rather not talk to a person who is underage. Maybe try saying uni or college instead.

True, but I've never strayed from my age, which is clearly stated on the profile. It should be very well assumed it's college or university. To me, school is still the same as college. In the college I attend, there is an actual high school on the 3rd floor.
