Why would a woman ever try to become a man?

think about it for a second. why in the world would a woman become a trans man. I can some what understand a man wanting to be a woman. Cause being a man is hard and it sucks. But the other way around? you're unnecessarily making your life a million times harder.

It's a good point. However it is about finding peace with themselves internally as externally. Think of it this way. If you were who you are now but woke up and had a vagina, would you feel congruent with yourself. Or would you feel foreign to your own existence. Body desphoria is extremely damaging to a person on many different levels.

Try putting yourself in their shoes?
To them they probably feel trapped and suffocated in this body that is not there's. Also being a woman is not easy either. To them is it is not being easy as they are not actually a woman they are a man.
I am non-binary which is NOT the same thing but it is normally feeling hatred for being in a body that was not mine. It's not that they want to try to be a man, it is that they truly are a man but was given the wrong body which causes a lot of depression, distress, anxiety, etc. It is not easy decision to change especially with gender dysphoria. Now it is different for everyone, so I am not sure how others feel but this is what it felt like for me and my friend.

You answered your own question. Being a woman is hard too, and their perspective is if they are a man, it would make their life easier.
It goes both ways. Gender dysphoria too.

Thank You! for your honest answer. I'm sick and tired of hearing how easy men's life are comparing to women. For those type of people grass is always greener on the other side. But in reality, we equally have our own difficulties in our own unique ways.
