Why would a woman?

I’d like to hear from a ladies perspective if possible. Why would my female friend always get into relationships with guys who either live in different states? Or guys that live locally but travel all the time? To me chances of these relationships working are slim to none, and I don’t really get it. She always gets frustrated that these relationships don’t end up working out, and I never really know what to say to her. I’m just trying to get different perspectives as to why a woman would be interested in relationships like that.

My opinion is that this woman is not ready to commit to a long term relation.

Living in different states or hundreds of miles away will always take a toll on any relation, despite what anyone says. Unless you live just across the border of the other state, such LDR will seldom work because "out of sight, out of mind" is unfortunately the truth.

But it is also an issue with social media and dating sites. Finding the right partner next door is rather the exception than the rule.

I have the feeling that despite the comments of your female friend, she is satisfied with that kind of setup because she is relatively free to do whatever she wants when the date is not around. By the way, it works in both directions.

Thanks so much for your answer! Do you feel like it’s possible that she could try to be making me jealous? I do have feelings for her but I’ve never mentioned anything to her about it. I sometimes feel like she does these things to try to get me to make a move lol.

That could be an option as well. Next time she tells you such a story, observe her facial expression exactly and her body language.

Mainly the eyes will tell you if she is trying to get some reaction out of you. To test her, you could also test her back by acting irritated or perhaps even angry and see how she takes your reaction.

If you are a good actor, you could even shed a tear. That would definitely lead you to assess her true feelings.

Women want best looking richest so maybe they not local. They also know more men make them less attractive so they can hide it in different states and say she is virgin to make rich guy husband and look like mom material so kids don't get made fun for dirty mom
