Not batshit crazy but like a little wild and crazy.. like maybe the traits the super crazy ones have but to lesser degrees

Eccentric, I can possibly handle. But she has to be the right kind of eccentric. The one gal I like at work is almost that. But she's super shy and easily rattled. Her and I have the same social anxiety, even if I hide it a little better.

However, I know she is reluctant to talk dating. I also know that her and I have opposite views on Pfizer. She thinks they're one of the best companies ever, and I see them as basically the Antichrist. So... that's not an easy hurdle to overcome. She fears anything political, and I know to stay guarded. Because even if you want no part of that dimension, it doesn't respect such boundaries, and won't leave her or me alone forever. I'd rather be prepared, even if I dread it like she does, than be caught unaware.

It's not a promising start. But at least she isn't a criminal, doesn't make false rape or harassment claims, doesn't try to set me up, doesn't ask me to do things she knows no man would be comfortable doing, isn't trying to hide me in a closet, isn't using me for sex, isn't trying to avoid the scrutiny of the CCP in order to keep her job (only to meet someone else behind my back and get fired for getting pregnant anyway), isn't using me for a video game, isn't terminally ill, doesn't hate my guts secretly, hasn't nearly blown herself up by smoking near a gas pump like a total brainlet, isn't two UFOs shy of a History Channel special, and doesn't live in the Philippines.

So... progress? She's been given crap in the past over her autism, but I'd still trust her over the other types of women I just mentioned.

I should probably get therapy before attempting to date again.

Well, I dunno. I seem to attract the super crazy ones.
One I brought home a few weeks ago. She seemed really nice and quiet.
By day two, she was whispering to, by day three having full on conversations with Aubrey and Michael.

The cool thing was that she would carry on both sides of the conversation. And it was a heck of a soap opera.

She left abruptly one afternoon. I drove up to see her disappearing down the street. Haven't seen her simce.

Darn, now I'll never know if Aubrey really 'like' likes her, or will they stay just friends. And what will Michael think?

I'm making a tiny bit of light about this. But I'm not kidding. She may have been crazy, but it was entertaining, interesting crazy.

Probably depends on what kind of "crazy" we're talking about. 🤣 I know you said not batshit, but what some people think is just a little wild is batshit to others!

I'm sure it depends on the guy as well. Some might find it exciting, and some might not like it at all and want someone more laid back.

The problem that I've noticed is that girls who pride themselves on being "crazy" tend to be more on the batshit side, and also full of drama, and I can't imagine many people would want to get involved in a shitshow like that.

Not really. It just seems that way. Guys like girls that are HOT. Hot girls can get away with more than less hot girls. So hot girls can tend to be a bit crazy and that does nothing to dampen down how much guys want them. All the hot, crazy girls out there have dudes lining up around the block for them. Then people (okay, it's probably more accurate to say "morons") look at that situation and come to the conclusion that guys like girls that are crazy.

And just so you don't think I'm picking on the girls here, the guys are just as moronic. Girls like confident, strong guys who aren't total pussies. Turns out some of those guys are complete assholes. But they still have plenty of girls--many hot--lining up to bend over for them. Then people (again, "morons") look at that situation and come to the conclusion that girls like guys who are assholes.

Honestly it depends on the guy and what his preferences are.

Personally, I love wit and a sense of humor as well as occasional dark humor. But as far as crazy goes... I've been down that road before. There is no such thing as "crazy" as all crazy is "batshit" crazy and it never ends well.
