So I visited five guys with the girls today and all I can say is I am fuc*in* RAGING!! So we ordered our food, I said the waitresses face shield looked like a viking heading to battle not hiding from a cough. She scoughed, and gae us all a dirty look. So I asked her did she have a problem? She told me "Wotsit I suggest you be quiet you aren't in Willy Wonkas factory now" I was gobsmacked at how rude a actual member of staff can f*ckin* be!!
We ordered dessert, she came over with a little fake smile on her face and asked did we need anything else and asked if there was anything else so I tried to joke with her by saying "good job you hav that sheild on because speaking to me like that is not a good idea" she then rolled her eyes so I told her to go wipe some tables. She then lent down as I anm seated and pushed a full cream bannoffe pie in my face. The staff did f all, didnteven offer me a tissue. My face was covered forehead to chin. On the way out she was beig spoken toby the manager, they still billed me for the pie!! she said to me "not neeed socks on it is December" I coudnt respond I was thagobsmacked, im so angry I have reported it.

I don't believe any of this happened. And if it did, you certainly don't come off any better than the waitress did. You both sound insufferable, to be honest. And you probably left out a LOT of details that make you look bad or unsympathetic in the public light. You also spoke rudely to her and implied she shoved a pie in your face for no reason, and you didn't even attack her back for it. If someone did that unprovoked, that'd be just cause to fight them. But you didn't, implying part of you feels like you deserved it. Something you said or did to them, to make them do that to you, in the first place.

In either case, I don't believe you are as innocent as you seem, assuming any of this actually happened in the first place.

Don't complain when someone goes off on you when you start shit. Service workers, especially in the pandemic, are over worked, under payed, over stressed and constantly dealing with jerks all day. They don't need yet another person starting shit with them.
