I asked this women if she was using a machine and she just stared at me?

I was at the gym and this women standing right next to this machine. I already had my stuff there but did not used it yet. So out of courtesy I looked at her and asked very nicely are you using this? Her reaction was she just looked at me for a few seconds just staring and then went to doing a workout right next to the machine. She didn’t say anything at all. She was very attractive but I was not trying to make a move on her or anything like that. I was simply asking a question. Is this weird behavior by her?

She looked at me like one or times after that as well. I honestly did not do anything but workout.

She sounds like the typical woman in the gym that make it difficult to have confidence in the gym. Probably thinks any guy coming up to her is a creep and she probably thinks she’s the most attractive one in the gym. I dislike women like her that being negative, high ego attitudes to the gym

Woman are complicated. It could be number of things

Maybe she didn't hear you. Maybe she's deaf. Maybe she doesn't speak English. Could be many reasons
