I can be, let's say a little unpleasant to be around many times and can go off easily when I shouldn't and that's putting it mildly sometimes. There are 4 females in our house including our mother - my poor dad... lol

CIm a 65% easy breeze through it no cramps oh here I am again. Then there's a $20% of the time some cramps and aches. Buy mild and no longer than the first day. then there's 15% sick as a dog nausea diarrhea cramps head aches lay in bed for a day no pain meds will help. Now regardless of which I experience Easy breeze mild or extremely uncomfortable I always get get a little emotional or moody a day or two before. I might get cranky or over emotional/stressed and rarely or occasionally even randomly cry 😢 over dumb stuff. But when the time is close I will experience a quick sudden and brief moment of FIERY 🔥🤬🔥 bitchieness about 2 hrs to 30 mins before it starts. I usually realized I just snapped for no reason and I know to go get a pad. Once it starts I calm down and feel guilty for being moody lol 😆.

Unfortunately 2 exes of mine their periods for them were so bad that their different personas pushed me away. Along with many other reasons but that's besides the point.

Had to answer a difficult question at one point related to this topic. One of those exes had seizures and one day I was with her at her doctor's appointment. The pills apparently he prescribed her makes mood swings worse lol. Doctor asked me if she's been more irritable lately. Lol... Ex was looking right at me waiting for an answer. I said no not really... But damn she was the worst I've witnessed in person being moody, bitchy, etc. Maybe I should've told the doctor that lol 🤔😂

To further answer the details question, it wasn't me that kept my distance, that same ex would go into this hibernation mode completely ignoring me for around 3 days. She would later reveal it was because of her period.

Chances are she had PMDD, which is an advanced form of PMS. Go to this link from the Mayo Clinic and see if she didn't fall into any of these symptoms. Its an easy read...

I raised four daughters and it definitely can be rough for you ladies and any man that doesn’t understand that it’s not a pleasant thing for you regardless if it hurts or not then ditch his ass I don’t understand how it all works some have bad cramps others don’t some sometimes have bad cramps and sometimes don’t and there’s doesn’t seem to be a reason why this time it’s bad but next time it’s not I use to do the rub your hands together karate kid style and put them on my daughters stomach to help her not sure if it actually helped or if it was just that I cared that helped but she would stop crying and usually fall asleep for some reason a heating pad didn’t work I think she just wanted to feel comforted she sometimes would get migraines during her period and I’d rub pressure points under her cheek bones to make the pain go away

In answer to your question: yes, there HAVE been times when I discovered I didn't want to be around her at certain times. Mostly, after she ate chick peas. GOD DAMN could she stink up a storm with her chick pea farts!!

I don’t really experience any pain, mostly I just break out around my jaw area and I get bloated a lot but the mood swings tho… I usually warn my boyfriend if I know I’m about to start PMSing so that he’ll know to give me some space bc I turn into an overthinking negative nancy

Mine is almost completely painless. It just appears at random (Nexplanon) and it's just like, "Oh. Hello." 😂

I'd say twice a year it is uncomfortable but aside from that it just... is.

Ever since having babies my periods have been bad. Very uncomfortable, lots of cramps, heavy bleeding but it's just something I've learned to deal with. No pms symptoms tho so happy about that.

Right now they are a breeze since my IUD has stopped them, not having them is great. Otherwise I could cry from cramps, sometimes and had little patience with anyone doing stupid stuff.

I have Pre menstrual dysphoric disorder which is being controlled by medication so I don’t try to kill myself before my periods. it’s very hard and I get a lot of breast tenderness, suicidal thoughts, meltdowns, cramping etc

I don’t have very much pain, but am not able to handle the amount of blood. It also gives me a lot of mood problems. I have bipolar disorder and menstruation/PMS makes that issue a lot worse.
