Is jealousy a “feminine” emotion?

Seems like in many situations especially in romance a man looks much more pathetic if he visibly shows jealousy. I also notice some women actually enjoy “testing” men when this but vice versa is not okay.

I have many women shit test me over the years. I remember one incident where a girl I had a huge crush on in college (she knew it) brought in a guy to the bar I worked at and made out with in in the dance floor.

She later looked at me uncomfortably though. I couldn’t leave because I was working. I didn’t know what the hell to do. I ended up being nice to the other guy when they walked out the door. I didn’t want to show my jealousy but it was absolutely horrible to witness that back then.

It's not feminine, it's just a feeling people get. 9 times out of 10 the feeling is justified. Women gain control by using shame tactics and that's usually how it's used against a man when he's feeling it. A woman feeling it, even if she is being crazy, gets a social pass as if it's cute or something.

I've been alive for so long and seen so many cheating women call men "paranoid" or "just jealous" when they're actually flirting with other men and do end up cheating, so maybe I've developed a bias. I've seen women get jealous over stupid shit like porn, admiring a magazine picture, or someone on T. V., but I suspect that's just a shit test.

I am not jealous. I want to have a monogamous committed relationship. If you don't want that, fine. No problem. Just don't lie for appearance sake or your own material advantage and leave as soon as possible. Don't let the door hit you on your arse either.

I’m not going to lie, I have tested my boyfriend before but it was to confirm that he liked me at the time. I wouldn’t say it’s a feminine emotion though.

The truth is all women test men and most don’t even realize they are doing it. Men might do this occasionally but it’s not something we do naturally.

My boyfriend tested me a lot as well. I think it comes with not really understanding the persons intentions and wanting to see what kind of person they overall are. My testing was more so to see if he had feelings for me because he wasn’t openly saying it but I knew he did like me

Once you are in a relationship that’s different. This question is more geared to the early stages of dating.

I don’t think most men “plan” to try to make girls jealous unless they really plot ahead of time. I do admit I will sometimes refrain from quickly responding to messages to avoid looking too available in the early stages. I know women get pissed when they hear guys say that. But it did help build curiousity.

But I have had women get into conversations with other guys at restaurants or bars while out on 1sr/2nd dates. I usually think its innocent but I know some women do this to see how I will react. The thing is I have never done this to a woman on a first date.

No it’s not okay. But when a girl gets jealous she usually has a hard time hiding it. I once had a female roommate who was jealous over my then girlfriend. She came home one night when I was cuddling with her on the sofa (nothing sexual). Despite giving her a heads up vía texting she was coming by my roommate walked away and slammed the door.

Truth is I felt some satisfaction about that because my roommate was an angry bitch and had slighted me at times. She once said at a dinner table (in front of her attractive friends) that I must get “shoved into the friendzone alot”. That was low. Really low.

Anyway I just imagined if the genders were reversed in the door slamming incident. Imagine a guy doing that? How would he look? Much worse than a female doing it in my opinión.
