Is it jealousy or possessiveness?

We aren't dating but he wants me to be monogamous. He keeps screaming 'Your body belongs to me only' though we never had sex. And he keeps worried if I go out alone, doesn't let me drink or smoke and doesn't like me talking to other boys. When he came to know I kissed one of my crush, he was very angry and upset. And he cut off all ties.

The question is, he ain't boyfriend or so but why is he doing so? Is this possessiveness or jealousy?

Its OK to want your partner to be monogomous, but beyond that - no. You body does NOT belong to him it belongs to you. You can use your body as you wish. If he doesn't like it, he's free to leave.

He is in no position to "let" you do or not do anything.

But it is perfectly OK if he doesn't want to stay i a relationship because of your behavior
