First time texting with girl, help me out a little with interpretation?

Ok so I recently got engaged to a girl, I know she is interested in me and I’m in her, so we started texting each other and we both reply to each other but I always have to start the conversation so never texts first, so I looked online and tried no texting for one week to see if she texts first and well no ball.
So I asked her indirectly as this bothered me and she said to me that she never texts first even her friends initiate the conversation first and that she is an introvert. So I was like ok
Forward a week I text her when I was at work and she was at gym so I told her to carry on I’ll text later and after an hour her text came letting me no that she was free
so now I’m confused that how should I interpret this?
both guys and girls help a fella out especially girls
