She is my friend's friend. I've met her in a bar that is in my building. She had to leave early so I invited her over to see my "exotic birds" collection. She laughed and said that she has to get up early. I walked her home (2 blocks away). 2 Days later she texted me asking me how am I doing and if my exotic birds are still alive. She also wished me a fun Sunday.

So far I don't have anyone in my contacts I like, and I haven't given my number to anyone in a while after a bad experience with this one dude (long story). But, if I did, I'd probably text first with some sort of silly excuse like "What did we have to do in class again?" or something along those lines. It would be vague with hopes of a conversation. :)

yes sometimes i text first it doesn't really meant i like the guy but it meats i want to know him more talk to him or hang with him.
