Why do girls sometimes rarely ever text first?

I'm curious as to why some of them don't. Currently, I've been texting my crush for around a month and few weeks now.. recently got her social media stuff and all that before school ended, etc. It's going great.. recently asked if she wanted to hang out and our conversations go amazing, she does seem genuinely interested and asks questions a lot and tries to keep the conversation going.. overall, we have a load in common and talk about our interests a ton! And yet.. she rarely ever texts me first. Why do some girls rarely text first, even if it does seem like they are interested? Maybe they're just being nice? Maybe they really aren't interested? Maybe they're shy? I dunno, I've been overthinking this a lot.

Because women in society were traditionally the ones who were courted back in the day. The guy called the woman because it was improper for the girl to call the guy on the phone. The women had to behave in a certain way or it was not lady like and they'd be shamed for that. Society pushed this for years that the man has to pay for the meals because that's the way it should be. Men approached women because if a woman approached a man then she was a whore. Men always called first because if a woman did she was a floosie. These are traditional values. If a woman doesn't behave traditionally she's called a whore. So If you're into traditional things then women shouldn't be texting first or approaching men or paying on the date. Thems the rules.
