Do you regret your past?

Probably we all have something we regret. That’s a human thing.

I regret some things… A lot… But if I want to keep going, I need to forgive myself for the mistakes I’ve made, get up and make sure I’ll learn from those mistakes…

We only live one, it’s not like we rehearse our lives before we have the grand debut… We have the debut right away, we are like little kids trying new things, sometimes doing things right, sometimes making mistakes. But we pay for them, life makes us pay for each mistake we make. The best thing we can do is forgive yourself and try better next time…

I regret more the things that I did not do, but wished I had more than the things I have actually done.

I learned a long time ago, for me personally I can deal with things I did, no matter how bad it turned out, while if I did nothing. I always wonder, what If or I wish I had tried that or done that.

I doubt you've done anything in your past to be worthy of regret that I haven't myself already done, well unless you've killed someone, can't say I've done that.

I regret some things. But I'm pretty happy with where I am at. So no use in dwelling too much on it.

The things that I regret most are usually the way I acted in certain situations. Ruining good relationships because I was young and selfish, etc. The best thing to do with that is learn from your mistakes and try and move on from them.

Regret may be too incomplete of a word. Yes, I regret those that I’ve hurt emotionally. I’ve done the work and was forgiven for my transgressions. I’m thankful for that forgiveness, the journey, and the development that came from the experience

I used to regret some. But now I'm thankful that those things happen to me. If weren't for that situation, I don't think I can help my younger sister and guide her when she experience those things I did before. And good thing is that we got to correct her quickly, unlike me who experienced it for a long time and suffered for a long time having a big regret in my heart. All I can do now is to make myself a better person than yesterday until I become someone who can be look up to.

Yes and no, there are things that happened, some things I did that would be great if never happened, However they shape who I am.

i learned years ago never to spend time regretting things but to just live life and do what you feel like, you get one shot at it, don’t spend time regretting anything.

Being risk adverse in life can mean a very quiet life to look back on at 60.

Yeah, I wish I would have just made that lie look like the truth as much as possible. Could have saved me from years of abuse and torture. Either that or stood my ground and ignored his attempts to guilt trip me.

There were somethings that I regret in my past. I have come to accept them over time. Now I acknowledge that it is because of those things, that made me the person that I love today.

I could have made better decisions. My only real regret was not joining the USAF which is webcast I wanted to do more than anything.

I hate my past as much as I brag about my past. I'm one of those who don't live in the present, though, and I do not recommend being that way.
