What kind of regret do you have about the past?

It's not beneficial to dwell on the past and lament about regrets. All one can do is learn form past mistakes and apply the gained knowledge in everyday life. The past is past and can't be undone. Best to gain insights, learn valuable lessons and continue on a better path.

I guess that I wasn't able to express my suffering and ask for help earlier. But I feel like regrets always include putting our current perspective on the past. And back then I was not able to do a lot of things that I can now. So in a way I feel like regretting something is unfair to my past self. I did my best back then and I'm doing my best now :)
