Girls, Should girls even be trusted now when it comes to feelings and love?

For the record I’m not some incel or female hater. I’ve been in the dating game for 10 years now. I understand girls will have feelings one day and no feelings the next. But what I don’t get is even on GAG girls and women will ask “where are all the good guys and good men?”, “why aren’t guys chivalrous anymore?” And so forth.

The culture changed, women and girls got sick of being cheated on and played so I think infidelity and flings are far more common now then 30-40 years ago. I’m doing my masters, I cook, I clean, I have my own apartment and car, I work, good job lined up, decent looking, in shape, etc.

girls have personally told me I’m handsome, sweet, down to earth and etc. so what’s the issue? No guy is perfect so why don’t I even make the cut if a girl says “sure I’ll go out on a date”. I’ve just lost hope. I figured why bother keeping these values or morals of being a proper dude if girls are just going to mess around anyways. Loyalty, chivalry, honesty is all dead in my opinion.

I’m a down to earth guy. Yes I get frustrated if I’m getting played who wouldn’t. But I wouldn’t stalk a girl in real life or some dumb shit like that. I’m trying man, honestly. My colleagues think I’m hard working and considerate. My friends think I’m real and straight forward. No girl til this day is mad about me because I took advantage of her sexually, I’m still a virgin. My parents know I’m hard working. My profs at uni think I’m a good student overall.

I don’t get what I’m doing wrong with girls. But it seems to me many girls want guys with tats, who smokes, parties and shows off in life. I’ve used dating apps and that’s what it seems like to me.

My advice to girls and I hope you take this to mind. A guy's social media, especially his his IG says a lot about him. I understand IG is a personal platform for an individual but narcissism says a lot about someone if they make it seem like they are high and mighty on themselves. It's fine to take pics with friends but if its filled with the same dumb poses then girls have to understand the guy will most likely have a large ego. No relationship is perfect and the definition of a true relationship is working through an argument or disagreement. When you have a disagreement with someone with an ego vs with someone who tries to be understanding it will show. For me, on my IG, I post things in a sensible way regarding political or religious views, not attacking others but bringing awareness.

Things such as injustice in a country, or posting a quote by God and life, something along those lines or how a father should be with his wife and kids, these are things that girls don't care about when they look at a guy's IG in my opinion. A lot of girls drool over guys with their shirts off and have 6-packs. I'm not saying as a guy, I don't look at attractive girls on social media. However, I wouldn't take those girls seriously either.

Also, if a guy has tons of girls he's following and liking tons of pics of girls in bikini's that says a lot about him, and the chances are a dude like that won't be satisfied with the girl who truly loves him. This is how life goes...

If I try to be genuine and wholesome, give a girl space, make her laugh and etc. I will most likely be ghosted or nexted for the narcissistic guy she digs sexually. But one day, I'm going to make people regret their decisions and assumptions about me by working harder, that's my goal.

I would never do that and I’ve talked to and tried to help girls throughout the years. I’m not a psychologist but if some girl pushes me aside because I’m not as big and buff and tall as the next guy that she gives the green light to then obviously I’ve been played to. I would love to meet a down to earth sweet girl. Trust me I’m not trying to pursue gorgeous self centred girls. I think girls nowadays assume you have to look raunchy/slutty to get dudes and just go with the flow of societal norms, that doesn’t make it right.

If you want to be a bad person who gets lots of sex, fine, then you can deal with those consequences.

If you want to be a good person who gets no sex, fine, spend your time being productive instead of whining.

Seems like the norm to be honest. But I do see questions on GAG quite often from girls eager to know where have good guys have gone or if a good guy even exists anymore. I just can't respect girls who after a variety of dicks and parties throughout the night. I can't look at that girl with a straight face and be proud that is potentially the mother of my children if I went further with her. I understand people make mistakes but it worries me if girls still act that way in her late 20s, 30s or early 40s.
